Kleofa
Kleofa (kwa Kigiriki Κλεόπας, Kleopas[1][2][3][4][5]) alikuwa Mkristo wa karne ya 1, maarufu kwa kutokewa na Yesu Kristo mfufuka akiwa njiani kutoka Yerusalemu kwenda Emau pamoja na mwanafunzi mwingine[6] (Lk 24:13-32).

[hariri | hariri chanzo]Ilikuwa siku ya tatu baada ya kifo cha Yesu, ambayo ndiyo ya ufufuko wake kadiri ya Agano Jipya. Ingawa hao wanafunzi wawili walikuwa wamesikia kwamba kaburi la Yesu lilionekana tupu, hawakupata moyo wa kubaki mjini zaidi.
Njiani walikuwa wakishirikishana huzuni yao kwa sababu Yesu alishindwa kurudisha ufalme wa Israeli. Ghafla mgeni akaongozana nao na kuulizia sababu ya huzuni yao. Baadaye aliwakaripia kwa kukosa imani akawafafanulia utabiri wa Agano la Kale kuhusu Masiya. Hapo mioyo yao ilikuwa kama inawaka wanapomsikiliza [7].
Walipofikia kijijini walimuomba abaki nao usiku, lakini walipoanza kula, mgeni huyo alimega mkate: ndipo walipomtambua kuwa Yesu.
Hapo mwenyewe alitoweka, nao wakarudi mjini kupasha habari kwa mitume wake, waliomuambia kwamba Yesu amemtokea pia Simoni Petro.
Habari hiyo inasimuliwa kifupi na nyongeza ya Injili ya Marko pia (16:12-13).

Mwanahistoria, askofu Eusebius wa Kaisarea, anaripoti maandishi ya Hegesippus, ambaye mwaka 180 hivi BK alisema kwamba miaka ya nyuma aliwahi kudodosa wajukuu wa Mtume Yuda akajibiwa kuwa Kleofa alikuwa ndugu wa Yosefu, mume wa Bikira Maria [9]
Tangu kale Kleofa anaheshimiwa kama mtakatifu: na Wakatoliki tarehe 25 Septemba[10], na Waorthodoksi tarehe 30 Oktoba[11], na Wakopti tarehe 10 Novemba.
