Insert third-party smart chips from other applications

You can preview URLs from a third-party partner in Google Docs and Sheets. You can also create third-party resources in a smart chip with the @ menu in Google Docs.

Important: You can only create and use a third-party smart chip if a developer has enabled it for that application. Also, you or your domain administrator will need to install the specific add-on for that application. To install an add-on, go to Extensions and then Add-ons and then Get add-ons. If you're unable to install the add-on, you can try contacting your administrator.
