Pokémon Dream Radar is an augmented reality action RPG FPS made by Nintendo for the Nintendo 3DS. This downloadable game is meant to be played along with Pokémon Black and White 2, as Pokémon and items obtained in this game can be transferred to that one.

Pokémon Dream Radar plays like a standard FPS, but instead of using a virtual world, it uses the real world, by way of the camera's input, by displaying Pokémon in whatever environment you are actually are in. Over time, the game automatically accumulates "Dream Clouds." Dream Clouds can also be restored using Play Coins, which are collected using the 3DS's pedometer. Players can then enter a shooting mode where they shoot the clouds, aiming by physically moving the 3DS system, in order to collect the Dream Orbs inside. Sometimes, a cloud will contain an item or a Pokémon. Shooting these clouds opens a minigame, in which players have a limited time to chase down a ball of light and keep on shooting it until a bar is filled.

The Dream Orbs collected can be used to upgrade the player's equipment and purchase in-game items to help capture Pokémon. The Pokémon and items collected can also be transferred to Pokémon Black or White 2.
