Tom Brady pulls off vintage game-winning drive for comeback win over Rams I The Rush

Tom Brady led the Buccaneers to a comeback win over the Rams with a vintage game-winning drive, becoming the only NFL player to throw for 100K yards. Elsewhere in the NFL, the Chiefs squeaked out an OT win over the Titans, the Jets upset the Bills, the Lions’ defense completely thwarted Aaron Rodgers and the Packers, and Joe Mixon had five touchdowns and over 200 yards in the Bengals win over the Panthers. PLUS: Kevin Durant and Ryan Reynolds are exploring the possibilities of becoming team owners.

MINTY BETS: It looked like the Rams were going to win one ugly game over the Buccaneers.

- Yay!

MINTY BETS: But down 4 with 44 seconds on the clock, you know who got the ball with a chance at a game winning drive. And folks, Tom Brady has still got it as he found tight end Cade Otton for the game-winning score. Oh, and he casually became the first player in NFL history with 100,000 passing yards.

- Way to be an overachiever.

MINTY BETS: Sure the Jets came in the week 9 with a 5-3 record, but did anyone really expect them to beat the big bad Bills.

- Nope.

MINTY BETS: Yet that Jets defense put in the work, sacking Josh Allen five times and forcing two interceptions. I never thought I'd say it, but the Jets might be for real.

- Say it isn't so.

MINTY BETS: Speaking of defense, the Lions D had the Packers offense reeling on Sunday, because they forced three Aaron Rodgers interceptions. Even worse, two of them came in the end zone.

- Intercepted by Aidan Hutchinson.

MINTY BETS: The Packers have lost five straight and are 3-6 on the season. And I bet Rodgers was wishing he had a guy like Joe Mixon right about now.

- Among other things.

MINTY BETS: Bengals running back Joe Mixon accounted for five touchdowns against the poor Panthers, and that was along with 211 total yards.

- Get this man a chair.

MINTY BETS: Mixon's monster performance was good for 55 fantasy points in PPR, which is awesome. But save some of that thunder for future games, Joe. Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant has expressed interest in joining the next ownership group for his favorite NFL team, the Washington Commanders. Current owner Dan Snyder can't stay out of trouble and is exploring the possibility of selling the team. Jeff Bezos and Jay-Z have been linked as possible candidates to buy the franchise, and adding a name like Durant to their theoretical group would create an All-Star ownership lineup.

- Dope.

MINTY BETS: But Durant isn't the only star who's plotting. Ryan Reynolds is interested in buying the NHL team Ottawa Senators if the franchise happens to become available, which is reportedly a strong possibility. Reynolds has some experience here since he co-owns the Welsh soccer team Wrexham along with Rob McElhenney.

Now, if Reynolds wants to compete with the hypothetical Bezos-Jay-Z-Durant line up, he's got plenty of famous Canadians to fill out his ownership group roster. My personal favorite would be a Reynolds, Justin, Bieber and Drake team up. That's practically Canadian Royalty right there.
