Amar Dedić (born 18 August 2002) is a Bosnian professional footballer. He plays as defender for Austrian Bundesliga club FC Red Bull Salzburg and the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.

Dedić started playing football at a local club. Then he went to Sturm Graz youth in 2012. In 2015 he moved to Red Bull Salzburg's youth academy. There he played in all ranks. In August 2019 he signed his first contract with Red Bull Salzburg.[2] He made his professional debut playing for Liefering against Amstetten on 26 July at the age of 16.[3] On 19 June 2020, he scored his first professional goal in a triumph over Dornbirn.[4]

He made his debut for Red Bull Salzburg in the cup match against Bregenz on 9 September.[5]

In June 2021, he went on loan to Wolfsberger AC.[6] In June 2022 he came back to Salzburg. In the 2022–23 season he became number 1 as right back. In the UEFA Champions League he played in all six group stage matches.

International career

Dedić represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at all youth levels. He was captain of the under-17 team.[7]

In March 2022 he was called into the senior team for friendly games against Georgia and Luxembourg.[8] He debuted against Luxembourg on 29 March.[9]
