Joseph Walton Losey (14. januar 1909. - 22. jun 1984) bio je američki filmski režiser, poznat po tome što su njegovu hollywoodsku karijeru prekinuli makartistički progoni, te što ju je morao nastaviti u Evropi. Loseyev opus se odlikovao izuzetnom žanrovskom raznovrsnošću - od film noira, preko horora do politički angažiranih biografskih i historijskih filmova.
