Hereward Budni

Hereward Budni (engleski: Hereward the Wake; cca. 1035 - 1072?), također poznat i kao Hereward Odmetnik (engleski: Hereward the Outlaw i Hereward Izgnanik (engleski: Hereward the Exile) bio je anglosaksonski (engleski) plemić i vojskovođa, poznat po tome što je, koristeći kao bazu područje Isle of Elyja, pružao otpor Normanima nekoliko godina nakon njihovog osvajanja Engleske.

Kao simbol otpora stranim zavojevačima, ušao je engleski folklor i bio čest motiv popularne kulture. Prema njemu je nazvan britanski razarač HMS Hereward koji je sudjelovao u drugom svetskom ratu, a služi i kao nadimak za RAF-ovu eskadrilu br. 2.
