Unable to log into it.wp or wikidata: 'There has been a problem in the session that identifies access; the system did not execute the command given as a precaution. Resubmit the form'
Closed, DuplicatePublicBUG REPORT

Description

Lately I have accidentally logged out of my session and can't log in anymore - the same thing happens with the other projects as well (I was in fact trying to log into Wikidata); when I try to click "Enter" the following text comes out: 'There has been a problem in the session that identifies access; the system did not execute the command given as a precaution. Resubmit the form'. I adjusted the time zone from phabricator and I found this message: 'The browser's time zone setting differs from the time zone setting in the profile, click to reconcile .; I have fixed the timezone and the message has disappeared, but the main problem (access) has not yet been resolved.'

Hi @Sfoltito, thanks for taking the time to report this and welcome to Wikimedia Phabricator!

Which website is this about? Does this also happen with another web browser?
Please follow https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/How_to_report_a_bug and provide all required information - thanks a lot!

Hi @Aklapper, I have not been able to access Wikipedia in Italian for a few days, probably due to attempts to access my users (5 or more) by people other than me. I tried to clear cookies from all sites from Chrome, but nothing has changed. The same thing happens to me with Wikidata.

Hi @Sfoltito, does that mean https://it.wikipedia.org/ ? Again, please do read and follow https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/How_to_report_a_bug .
Also, see my previous comment: Does this also happen with another web browser?
Which browsers and exact browser versions has this been tested with?

@Aklapper No, this don't happen also with other site/browsers. I don't know what is the current version of the browser, maybe, 3.1.1. I think it happens only with the Wikimedia Foundation websites. However, there's something that we could do?

I'm making this ticket public as I don't see anything secret here.
