Environment: The environment is beautiful, and the hotel toiletries are my favorite brand✪ω✪
Service: The service is very good, and the hotel also has a shuttle bus to Nara Station
The breakfast options are a little limited, but the rice is delicious!
This hotel is located on Mount Wakakusa in Nara. The location is a bit remote, but the scenery is really great, especially in the early morning, when you see the entire Nara city shrouded in mist, it is super beautiful.
The room is a traditional Japanese tatami room, which is quite comfortable but not too luxurious. The hot spring is open-air, so you can soak in it while looking at the mountain view, which is really relaxing. However, the hot spring pool is not big and may be a bit crowded if there are many people.
Dinner was kaiseki, and the portion was a bit too much for us.
Generally speaking, this place is suitable for people who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and relax. Just be mentally prepared. This place is quite quiet and there are not many entertainment facilities. The focus is on relaxation.
A hotel full of history as it has been the chosen venue for important events in Nara. Many celebrities had stayed in this hotel including Albert Einstein. Tried the rice lager at the tea house which is very good tgough some may find it not strong enough. The vicinity is nice. It is within waljing distance of the famous Nara Park. The room is spacious. Shuttle bus service to Nara station is excellent. Very helpful staff. An enjoyable stay indeed!

Apartment, can not find the front desk, looking for a long time through manual service to find the password to enter the room, the sound insulation effect is not good, there are men outside the night, there are women crying, just call the police
The location of the area is very good. It is next to Ruocao Park. In addition to self-check-in, it makes people feel that the head is big. The test of English is good. The price and service match. Health is also OK.
The location is good, next to Nara Park and Asahi Taisha Shrine, and not far from the pedestrian street and other attractions. You can see deer right out of the gate. The house is very old with no more than 10 guest rooms and is well maintained. You must take off your shoes when entering the hotel. When we took a taxi to the door, the driver ran in and asked the waiter to come out to greet us. The waiters are polite and considerate, but their English communication is a bit difficult... The hotel's specialty is that it includes breakfast and dinner. The breakfast is a delicious Japanese set meal and the dinner is an exquisite kaiseki meal ~ This is why I booked this hotel.
The three-person tatami room we stayed in was quite spacious and a good experience, but the pillows were too low. Breakfast is 500 yen per serving, and a toothbrush is 50 yen for an additional fee. There is a bus stop at the intersection on the left when you go out of the B&B. It is very convenient to take one or two stops to Nara Park for 220 yen. It takes about 25 minutes to walk, but it was too hot so I chose to take a car. The B&B rents bicycles for 500 yen per day (no matter what time you borrow them, you return them that night, not 24 hours a day), and 100 yen per hour. However, the road to Nara Park Road is a bit uphill. I couldn’t ride it, so I didn’t borrow it. The sun was too hot. It’s hard to ride a bike, but you can borrow one if it’s winter. This B&B is full of foreigners. I stayed there for 2 nights and didn’t meet a single Chinese person.

KKinglumLoved the hotel!! It’s in the center of nara city
It’s 5 mins walk to the nara shopping area, 5mins walk to the nara park there is deer walking around the hotel in the morning
There is free morning city walk tour at 7:00-8:00 with local guide; the bicycle is free
The view of the pond is nice the service is great!! 5stars to everything
The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable
They have drink lounge for free use with unlimited snacks; fruit juice, sake, beer, wine from
15:00pm-2:00am
Really recommend everyone that travels to nara city to stay at this hotel!!
The only downside of this hotel is the breakfast only provides japanese style food ; grill fish and onigiri
The onigiri is huge, grill fish and miso soup is cold
I wish they can make the onigiri smaller so
We can taste more flavors
And hope that they can provide a bakery corner for people who doesn’t like to eat fish
Otherwise we loved the hotel and want to go
Back again!!
Ps: there is not parking space so we need to park at the coin parking costs us 2400¥ /night
HHol Gar BiancaRoom is comfy, super clean. Love their onsen which is decent after long day tour.
It’s just few minutes away from the station.
Parking slot also available.
Front desk staff are very helpful and friendly. They are really patience to explain us all the details.
Thank you for all the travel tips
CchenluisVery Friendly staff
Very strict on the timing of ”checking in”: Even though we arrived 245pm, they ask us to come back at 3pm for check in, but they offer to keep our luggages for us FOC.
Free Soba noodle at 930pm was tasty
morning breakfast was excellent
GGuest UserNara Treasure Inn!! If you like the atmosphere of a Japanese family hotel and don't mind a small room, this one is really suitable for a solo traveler. The room is quieter and cleaner, with tatami mats, small but complete. The bath on the first floor is a private bath reserved by time slot, very hot, so more than 40 minutes of time slot is enough.
The front desk brother on duty at night is handsome and ok in English, and is very helpful. For example, he let me take the last minute of the remaining bathroom time slot (it was already ten minutes later when I arrived), take a bath and stroll around the small streets. It is also close to the commercial street (but everything is closed at night), and the surrounding environment and hotel atmosphere are great.
YyeanofanBecause I've stayed in Japanese hotels of about 11 square meters before, I was mentally prepared for the size of the room, but after opening the door, I felt that the space was larger than expected. The bathroom was very clean and I was generally satisfied. The location is very good, less than 100 meters from the Kintetsu Station, and there is a 711, Nara Park, art museums, and markets next to it, all within walking distance. There is also a post office in the alley nearby, which is convenient for sending postcards. The breakfast is a bit unaccustomed to me.
GGuest UserThe room for one person is quite good, clean, well-equipped, and convenient for transportation. It is very close to Nara Station. The surrounding dining is also very convenient. There are food around the hotel entrance.
GGuest UserI made a reservation on the day.
I thought I had booked a non-smoking room, but was shown to a smoking room, and the smell of cigarettes was so strong that I asked to change it, and they gladly did. The front desk staff was kind.
Drinks are free from 6pm to 9pm.
Unfortunately, they had run out of the alcohol I wanted to drink.
There were only a few side dishes for breakfast, but the bread was delicious.
FFENGThe breakfast is not bad, the staff here are very polite, the service attitude is good, the room is a little bit outdated, but it is better than the price, the hardware is complete, you can take a bath and relax after a day of shopping, it is not bad!
WWensenWe really appreciated the stay at the old traditionnal timber house, everything is kept in its style. The lifestyle also is part of the house : everyone is playing the game, being very silent and respectful, sharing a very nice traditionnal kitchen. The house may miss one more shower but it still works. I totally recommand the experience !!
XXIAOSAI ordered a double bed and made a loft. The overall space is not very large, but it is much more comfortable than domestic hotels. The hygiene and service are excellent. The location is very good. It is 7 minutes walk from Nara Park and 5 minutes from the subway entrance. A place to eat, drink and play for 5 minutes.
You can play in Nara for a few more days, the deer are very cute
