Description

一种实现自动邻区关系测量的方法及系统 技术领域
本发明涉及邻区关系管理技术, 尤指一种实现自动邻区关系测量的方 法及系统。 背景技术
为了满足蜂窝移动通信系统运营商用户数的不断增多, 以及用户对服 务要求的不断提高, 蜂窝网络的规模将不断扩大, 基站数将不断增多, 各 种制式的蜂窝移动通信系统将不断加深彼此间的协同操作。 而蜂窝网络中 小区的邻区关系管理和维护成为越来越繁瑣的工作, 于是运行商期望过去 手工的邻区关系管理能够被系统自动化。
如图 1所示,在 UTRA网络中,通用陆地无线接入网( UTRAN, Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network )包括无线网络控制器( RNC, Radio Network Controller )和基站( NodeB ) 两种基本网元。 成百上千的 NodeB下众多小 区间的邻区关系, 会随着网络规划优化的需要和所处无线环境的变化而动 态地变化。
在 UTRA网络中, 小区间正确的邻区关系对网络性能非常重要。 比如: 在实现用户终端 (UE )最优切换, 保证其服务连续性, 帮助网络实现负载 均衡, 容量调配, 节能等时, 都会用到邻区关系。 在手工邻区管理下, 网 络侧通过系统广播消息或者专有控制消息, 将预先配置好的邻区关系通知 给 UE, UE进一步存储和利用这些收到的邻区关系。 但是, 这种来自网络 侧提前配置好的邻区关系可能是过时的, 不能真正反映实时的邻区关系。 比如: 由于无线环境错综复杂, 尤其是高层建筑密集的城区环境, 在网络 规划初期很难确切判断某个小区应该配置哪些邻区; 还有一些如系统中新 增加了一个小区或者小区属性改变, 没有及时更新小区的相邻关系; 或者 环境的变化、 网络规划人员的遗漏等, 都会造成邻区信息更新不及时。 这 样就会造成 UE不能及时切换到其它的小区, 而使得本小区的负载过高、本 小区信号质量变差、 干扰严重或者用户掉话等情况的发生。
小区信息由小区物理层信息和小区高层信息组成。 其中, 小区物理层 信息就是小区的主扰码 ( PSC ) , 在网络规划时, 在某一个区域中 PSC是 唯一的。 UTRAN 的小区高层信息包括公共陆地移动网络(PLMN, Public Land Mobile Network ) 以及这个 PLMN中的小区唯一标识( CID ) 两部分, 或者, 包括 PLMN、 路由区标识 (RAI ) 以及位置区标识(LAI ) 三部分, 或者,包括 PLMN、 RAI、 LAI以及 CID四部分。演进的 UTRAN( E-UTRAN ) 小区的高层信息包含小区全局信息(CGI ) , 路径域编码(TAC )和公共陆 地移动网络列表( PLMN list ) 。 GSM小区的高层信息包含 CGI和 RAC。
为了能够及时地配置小区的相邻关系, 目前, 业界提出 UMTS系统在 专用连接态 Cell DCH 即专用信道连接状态下利用自动邻区关系 (ANR, Automatic Neighbor Relation ) 功能来添加相邻小区列表。 ANR功能就是通 过 UE在专用连接态下接收到网络侧下发的测量控制消息,辅助测量新小区 的物理层信息并上 ^艮给网络侧,并且, 网络侧能向专用连接态的 UE获知某 一特定小区的高层信息, 网络侧完成添加相邻小区列表的功能, 这种添加 不需要手动添加相邻小区, 即由系统自动完成。
现有邻区关系的自动管理中, UE是在专用状态完成 ANR测量, 浪费 了空中资源, 而对 UE的使用感受也会造成影响。 发明内容
有鉴于此, 本发明的主要目的在于提供一种实现自动邻区关系测量的 方法及系统, 能够节省空中资源, 并提高对 UE的使用感受。
为达到上述目的, 本发明的技术方案是这样实现的: 一种实现自动邻区关系测量的方法, 包括:
用户设备 UE向网络侧上报自身具备自动邻区关系 ANR能力; 网络侧确定 UE处于公共连接态, 向 UE下发 ANR测量控制信息; UE根据获得的 ANR测量控制信息进行专用控制的 ANR测量,并向网 络侧上报测量结果。
所述 UE通过上行空口信令, 上报自身具备自动邻区关系 ANR能力; 其中, 上行空口信令为无线连接建立请求消息、 或小区更新消息、 或 无线资源控制连接完成消息。
所述上报自身具备自动邻区关系 ANR能力为: 通过终端 ANR能力支 持信元指示所述 UE是否具备 ANR能力。
所述网络侧确定 UE处于公共连接态为:
所述网络侧接收到无线连接请求消息, 并确定让终端进入公共连接状 态;
或者, 所述 UE从空闲态切换到公共连接态, 在前向接入信道 FACH 信道上发送无线资源控制连接完成消息;并且 UE从终端的前向接入信道状 态 cell_fach切换到终端的寻呼信道状态 cell_pch。
所述网络侧下发 ANR测量控制信息包括:

步骤 200: UE向网络侧上报自身具备 ANR能力。
本步骤中, UE通过上行空口信令,告知网络侧其具备 ANR能力。 其中, 上行空口信令为无线连接建立请求消息、 或小区更新消息、 或无线资源控 制连接完成消息等。
步骤 201 : 网络侧确定 UE处于公共连接态, 向 UE下发 ANR测量控制信 息。
本步骤中, 网络侧通过下行空口信令消息指示 UE进行专用 ANR测量, 下发 ANR测量控制信息。 下行空口信令消息为新增的控制测量消息 ( Measurement Control Message )。
本步骤强调的是, 网络侧在确定 UE处于公共连接态后, 才会向 UE下发 的 ANR测量控制信息。 这样, 实现了利用公共连接态的 UE来完成专用控制 的 ANR测量。
步骤 202: UE根据获得的 ANR测量控制信息进行专用控制的 ANR测量, 并向网络侧上报测量结果。
测量结果的上报方法可以是: 通过新增消息, 如附加测量报告 ( Additional Measurement Report )携带, 也可以是通过已有的 RRC消息携 带上报。 已有的 RRC消息包括但不限于: 初始直传 ( Initial Direct Transfer ) 消息、 或测量 4艮告 ( Measurement Report )、 或无线网络控制连接请求( RRC Connection Request ) 消息、 或上行直传 ( Uplink Direct Transfer ) 消息、 或 小区更新 (Cell Update ) 消息等。 本发明方法还包括: 网络侧根据接收的到的测量结果, 进行邻区关系 更新和 /或切换决策。 具体实现属于现有技术, 其实现方法与本发明无关, 不用限定本发明的保护范围。
本发明方法中, 在确定 UE处于公共连接态后, 网络侧才向 UE下发 ANR测量控制信息, UE根据获得的 ANR测量控制信息进行专用控制的 ANR测量, 并向网络侧上报测量结果。 本发明方法通过利用公共连接态的 UE来完成专用控制的 ANR测量, 实现了自动邻区关系上 而且, 由于 ANR测量在 UE的公共连接态下完成, 节省了空中资源, 提高了对 UE的 使用感受, 不会造成对专用状态的终端的业务影响。
针对本发明方法, 还提供一种实现自动邻区关系测量的系统, 如图 3 所示, 至少包括 UE和网络侧, 其中,

UE, 用于向网络侧上报自身具备 ANR能力; 根据获得的 ANR测量控 制信息进行专用控制的 ANR测量, 并向网络侧上报测量结果。
网络侧, 还用于根据接收的到的测量结果, 进行邻区关系更新和 /或切 换决策。
下面结合实施例对本发明方法进行详细描述。
图 4为本发明实现自动邻区关系测量的第一实施例的流程示意图, 第 一实施例为 UE处于前向接入信道状态 (cell_fach ) 的公共连接态下进行 ANR测量, 如图 4所示, 包括以下步骤:
步骤 400: UE通过公共控制信道(CCCH, Common Control Channel ) 信道, 在无线连接请求 (RRC Connection Request ) 消息中携带 ANR能力 指示, 将自身是否具备 ANR能力告知网络侧如 RNC。 其中, ANR能力指 示可通过表 1所示的终端 ANR能力支持信元来指示。 ANR f ¾ ^7 ^ ( ANR 可选项 布 尔 型 如果存在且取值为 系统版本 support )信元 ( OP ) ( Boolean ) 真 ( ture ) , 表示 UE 10
支持 ANR能力;如果 ( REL-10 不存在,表示 UE不支 ) 持 ANR能力

表 1仅是一个示例, 这里并不用于限定 ANR能力指示的方式, 也不用 于限定本发明的保护范围。
步骤 401 : RNC接收到无线连接请求消息,获知该 UE具备 ANR能力。 同时, 本步骤中, 按照现有技术, RNC会根据一定内部策略, 比如公 共信道上的负荷不是很大, 确定让终端进入公共连接状态。
然后, RNC向 UE发送无线资源控制建立( RRC Connection Setup )消 息, 并在该无线资源控制建立消息中携带指示 RRC 状态为前向接入信道 ( FACH, Forward Access Channel )连接态 ( RRC state=cell_fach ) 。
步骤 402~步骤 403: UE从空闲态切换到公共连接态,在 FACH信道上 发送无线资源控制连接完成( RRC Connection Complete ) 消息。
步骤 404: 4艮设 RNC发现该 UE附近可能有漏配邻区的可能性, 则选 择该公共连接态下的 UE进行 ANR测量, 于是, RNC在 CCCH信道上, 下发测量控制消息( Measurement control message )给 UE, 并在该测量控制 消息中携带对 ANR测量的 ANR测量控制信息。
本步骤中, ANR测量控制信息包含频内测量, 频间测量和系统间测量 三个场景。 在频内测量列表中增加对频内检测集的测量指示和 /或某一个特 定小区的高层信息的获取指示。 在频间测量列表中增加对频间检测集的测 量指示和 /或某一个特定频间小区的高层信息的获取指示。 在系统间测量列 表中增加对系统间检测集的测量指示和 /或某一个特定系统间小区的高层信 息的获取指示。
步骤 405~步骤 406: UE根据获得的 ANR测量控制信息进行 ANR测量, 并通过测量艮告 ( Measurement Report )将 ANR测量结果上报给 RNC。 本步骤中, 测量结果的上报方法可以是: 通过新增消息, 如附加测量 报告(Additional Measurement Report )携带, 也可以是通过已有的 RRC消 息携带上报。 已有的 RRC消息包括但不限于: 初始直传 (Initial Direct
Transfer ) 消息、 测量才艮告 ( Measurement Report ), 无线网络控制连接请求 ( RRC Connection Request )消息、 上行直传 ( Uplink Direct Transfer )消息、 小区更新(Cell Update )消息等。 测量报告至少包括如下内容: 检测集小区 的物理层信息, 和 /或特定小区的高层信息。
RNC收到 ANR测量的测量结果, 进行邻区关系更新和 /或切换决策。 图 5 为本发明实现自动邻区关系测量的第二实施例的流程示意图, 第 二实施例为 UE处于 cell_dch的公共连接态下进行 ANR测量,如图 5所示。 包括以下步骤:
步骤 500: UE通过 CCCH信道, 向 RNC发送无线连接请求( RRC Connection Request ) 消息。
步骤 501 : RNC接收到无线连接请求消息,向 UE发送无线资源控制建 立 ( RRC Connection Setup ) 消息, 并在该无线资源控制建立消息中携带指 示 RRC状态为专用连接态( RRC state=cell_fach )。 本步骤中, 按照现有技 术, RNC会根据一定内部策略, 比如公共信道上的负荷不是很大, 确定让 终端进入公共连接状态。
步骤 502~步骤 503: UE从空闲态切换到公共连接态,在 FACH信道上 发送无线资源控制连接完成消息, 并在该消息中携带 ANR能力指示, 将自 身是否具备 ANR能力告知网络侧如 RNC。 其中, ANR能力指示可通过表 1所示的终端 ANR能力支持信元来指示。
步骤 504: 本实施例中, 假设 UE由于没有业务数据传送, 从终端的前 向接入信道状态 (cell_fach )切换到终端的寻呼信道状态 ( cell_pch ) 。 这 样可以进一步为 UE省电。
步骤 505: 4艮设 RNC发现该 UE附近可能有漏配邻区的可能性, 则选 择该专用连接态下的 UE进行 ANR测量, 于是, RNC在 CCCH信道上, 下发测量控制消息( Measurement control message )给 UE, 并在该测量控制 消息中携带对 ANR测量的 ANR测量控制信息。 。
步骤 506~步骤 507: UE根据获得的 ANR测量控制信息进行 ANR测量, 并通过测量艮告 ( Measurement Report )将 ANR测量结果上报给 RNC。
RNC收到 ANR测量的测量结果, 进行邻区关系更新和 /或切换决策。 工业实用性
本发明通过利用公共连接态的 UE来完成专用控制的 ANR测量, 实现 了自动邻区关系上报, 而且, 由于 ANR测量在 UE的公共连接态下完成, 节省了空中资源,提高了对 UE的使用感受, 不会造成对专用状态的终端的 业务影响。
以上所述, 仅为本发明的较佳实施例而已, 并非用于限定本发明的保 护范围, 凡在本发明的精神和原则之内所作的任何修改、 等同替换和改进 等, 均应包含在本发明的保护范围之内。

Claims

权利要求书
1、 一种实现自动邻区关系测量的方法, 其特征在于, 包括:
用户设备 UE向网络侧上报自身具备自动邻区关系 ANR能力; 网络侧确定 UE处于公共连接态, 向 UE下发 ANR测量控制信息; UE根据获得的 ANR测量控制信息进行专用控制的 ANR测量,并向网 络侧上报测量结果。
2、 根据权利要求 1所述的方法, 其特征在于, 所述 UE通过上行空口 信令, 上报自身具备自动邻区关系 ANR能力;
其中, 上行空口信令为无线连接建立请求消息、 或小区更新消息、 或 无线资源控制连接完成消息。
3、 根据权利要求 2所述的方法, 其特征在于, 所述上报自身具备自动 邻区关系 ANR能力为: 通过终端 ANR能力支持信元指示所述 UE是否具 备 ANR能力。
4、 根据权利要求 1~3任一项所述的方法, 其特征在于, 所述网络侧确 定 UE处于公共连接态为: 所述网络侧接收到无线连接请求消息,并确定让 终端进入公共连接状态; 或者,
所述 UE从空闲态切换到公共连接态, 在前向接入信道 FACH信道上 发送无线资源控制连接完成消息; 并且 UE从终端的前向接入信道状态 cell_fach切换到终端的寻呼信道状态 cell_pch。
5、 根据权利要求 4所述的方法, 其特征在于, 所述网络侧下发 ANR 测量控制信息包括:
所述网络侧通过下行空口信令消息下发 ANR测量控制信息; 所述下行空口信令消息为新增的控制测量消息。
6、 根据权利要求 5所述的方法, 其特征在于, 所述 ANR测量控制信 息为: 对于频内测量, 在频内测量列表中增加对频内检测集的测量指示和 /或 某一个特定小区的高层信息的获取指示;
对于频间测量, 在频间测量列表中增加对频间检测集的测量指示和 /或 某一个特定频间小区的高层信息的获取指示;
对于系统间测量, 在系统间测量列表中增加对系统间检测集的测量指 示和 /或某一个特定系统间小区的高层信息的获取指示。
7、 根据权利要求 4所述的方法, 其特征在于, 所述 UE向网络侧上报 测量结果包括:
所述 UE将测量结果携带在新增消息, 或无线网络控制 RRC消息中上 报。
8、 根据权利要求 7所述的方法, 其特征在于, 当所述 UE将测量结果 携带在 RRC消息中上报时, 所述 RRC消息为:
初始直传消息、 或测量报告、 或无线网络控制连接请求消息、 或上行 直传消息、 或小区更新消息。
9、根据权利要求 7所述的方法, 其特征在于, 所述测量报告至少包括: 检测集小区的物理层信息, 和 /或特定小区的高层信息。
10、 一种实现自动邻区关系测量的系统, 其特征在于, 包括 UE和网络 侧, 其中,
网络侧, 用于确定 UE处于公共连接态, 向 UE下发 ANR测量控制信 息;
UE, 用于向网络侧上报自身具备 ANR能力; 根据获得的 ANR测量控 制信息进行专用控制的 ANR测量, 并向网络侧上报测量结果。
11、 根据权利要求 10所述的系统, 其特征在于, 所述网络侧, 还用于 根据接收的到的测量结果, 进行邻区关系更新和 /或切换决策。
12、 根据权利要求 10或 11所述的系统, 其特征在于, 所述网络侧包 括无线网络控制器 RNC。
