Abstract

 粒子線ビームを生成するビーム生成部と、粒子線ビームの出射を制御するビーム出射制御部と、スライス全体に粒子線ビームが走査されるよう、粒子線ビームの位置を指示するビーム走査指示部と、粒子線ビームを2次元で走査するビーム走査部と、患者の呼吸の周期に同期した呼吸ゲートを生成する呼吸ゲート生成部と、呼吸ゲート内に所定数の走査開始用パルスを略等間隔となるように生成するパルス生成部と、を備え、同一スライスに対する走査が所定数繰り返されるよう、各走査開始用パルスから設定線量に基づくパターン照射でスライス全体を走査することを特徴とする。
