Abstract

 配信されるマルチキャストデータのチャネルごとに、配信されるデータの特性に応じて第1のページング情報を予め決定し、各チャネルのマルチキャストデータ配信フレームをこの第1のページング情報に基づいて決定する。チャネルを選択した移動機についてのページング情報(第2のページング情報)を、選択したチャネルについて決定された第1のページング情報から決定する。これによってマルチキャストデータ配信フレームを着信通知監視対象フレームに重ねる(同期させる)ことが可能になり、アイドルモードにおけるMSの消費電力が低減される。
