Description

導電性樹脂被覆鋼管およびその押し出し成形方法
技術分野
この発明は、 導電性樹脂被覆鋼管およびその押し出し成形方法の技術分野に属 書
し、 更に云えば、 例えば、 弱電関係の部品等を収容し又は移動させる流動棚又は 駆動コンベア等の構造体の骨材として好適に使用される導電性樹脂被覆鋼管およ びその押し出し成形方法に関する。
背景技術
弱電関係の部品等を収容し又は移動させる流動棚又は駆動コンベア等の構造体 の骨材としては、 静電気の帯電を防止するため、 6〜3 O mm程度の薄肉 鋼管の外周面に、 カーボンブラックを添加した導電性合成樹脂を 1 mm程度の厚 さに被覆した、 2 8〜3 2 mm程度の導電性樹脂被覆鋼管が使用されている。 しカゝし、 前記導電性樹脂被覆鋼管は、 使用するカーボンブラックに起因して単 価が高く、 また、 黒色なので美観を損なうと共にカーボンが接触物に付着する等 の問題があった。
そこで、 本出願人は、 実公平 8— 5 7 9 6号公報に開示しているように、 前記 薄肉鋼管の外周面に有彩色の AA S樹脂等の合成樹脂を l mm程度の厚さに被覆 すると共に、 当該樹脂被覆鋼管の管軸方向へ、 カーボンブラックを添加した帯状 の導電性合成樹脂を一体成形した導電性樹脂被覆鋼管を提案している。
この導電性樹脂被覆鋼管によると、 前記カーボンブラックの使用量を低減でき、 製造単価の引き下げに貢献することができる。
しかしながら、 前記実公平 8— 5 7 9 6号公報に開示した導電性樹脂被覆銅管 によれば、 コスト面及び美観での改善は認められるものの、 帯状ではあるが前記 カーボンブラックを添加した導電性合成樹脂が露出していることに変わりはない c よって、 当該露出部分の接触物への付着という問題は依然として改善されず、 ァ 一ス線を接続する際に導電部分の位置に留意する必要から、 作業効率が悪くなる という新たな問題が発生する。
ところで、 近年、 耐衝擊性に優れたフィラー (繊維) が注目されている。 しか しながら、 このフイラ一は前記カーボングラックと同様に高価であるため、 当該 フィラーを混合した樹脂被覆鋼管、 特に導電性樹脂被覆鋼管は未だ市中で見受け られない。
したがって、 本発明の目的は、 前記カーポンプラックの代わりにフィラーを使 用して、 しかも製造単価の引き下げを図ることはもちろん、 美観を更に高める導 電性樹脂被覆鋼管おょぴその押し出し成形方法を提供することにある。 発明の開示
上記目的を達成するため、 請求項 1に記載した発明に係る導電性樹脂被覆鋼管 (1) は、 薄肉鋼管 (2) の外周面にポリエチレン、 ABS、 AAS、 ポリプロ ピレン等の再生樹脂 (3) が被覆され、 更に前記被覆樹脂 (3) の外周面にフィ ラーを混合したポリエチレン、 ABS、 AAS、 ポリプロピレン等の導電 '『生樹脂
(4) 1 その導電性を発揮させるのに必要な肉厚及ぴ幅を有する部分 (4 b) が管体の円周方向に 1以上複数箇所設けられ、 且つ外周全面を薄肉に被覆された 二層被覆構造で管軸方向に均等断面としていることを特徴とする。
請求項 2記載の発明は、 請求項 1に記載した導電性樹脂被覆鋼管において、 薄肉鋼管 (2) ほ円形断面であること、 導電性樹脂 (4) は、 再生樹脂 (3) の外周面に、 比較的薄く幅広な層状部分 (4 a) と比較的厚く幅狭な層状部分 (4 b) とを交互に、 且つそれぞれ等分割した形状で被覆されていることを特徴 とする。
請求項 3記載の発明は、 請求項 1又は 2に記載した導電性樹脂被覆鋼管 ( 1 ) において、 導電性樹脂 (4) の導電性を発揮させるのに必要な肉厚は少なくとも 0. 5mm程度、 幅は少なくとも 2mm¾¾とされていることを特徴とする。 請求項 4記載の発明は、 請求項 1〜 3のいずれか一に記載した導電性樹脂被覆 鋼管 (1 ) において、 導電性樹脂 (4 ) は、 着色剤を添加して有彩色とされてい ることを特 ί敷とする。
請求項 5記載の発明に係る導電性樹脂被覆鋼管の押し出し成形方法は、 薄肉鋼管 (2 ) の外周面にポリエチレン、 A B S、 AA S、 ポリプロピレン等 の再生樹脂 (3 ) を被覆し、 更に前記被覆樹脂 (3 ) の外周面にブイラ一を混合 したポリエチレン、 A B S、 AA S、 ポリプロピレン等の導電†生樹脂 (4 ) を、 その導電性を発揮させるのに必要な肉厚及ぴ幅を有する部分 (4 b ) を管体の円 周方向に 1以上複数箇所設けると共に、 外周全面を薄肉に被覆して管軸方向に均 等断面の二層被覆構造に押し出し成形することを特徴とする。 図面の簡単な説明

図 1 A、 Bは、 請求項 1に記載した導電性樹脂被覆鋼管 1の実施形態を示して いる。 この導電性樹脂被覆鋼管 1は、 例えば、 弱電関係の部品等を収容し又は移 動させる流動棚又は駆動コンベア等の構造体の骨材として好適に使用される。 こ の導電性樹脂被覆鋼管 1は、 安価な再生樹脂をできるだけ多く使用して高価なフ ィラーを混合した導電性樹脂の使用量をできるだけ抑えつつも導電性を十分に発 揮させる技術的思想に立脚している。
この導電性樹脂被覆鋼管 1は、 薄肉鋼管 2の外周面に先ずポリエチレン、 A B S、 AA S、 ポリプロピレン等の再生樹脂 3が被覆され、 更に前記被覆樹脂 (再 生樹月旨 3 ) の外周面に、 フィラーを混合したポリエチレン、 A B S、 AA S、 ポ 'ン等の導電性樹脂 4が、 その導電性を発揮させるのに必要な肉厚及ぴ 幅を有する部分 4 b力 図 1の場合は管体の円周方向を 1 2等分した位置に 1 2 箇所設けられ、 それぞれは管軸方向に連続する帯状に設けられ、 しかも外周全面 を薄肉に被覆された二層被覆構造で管軸方向に均等断面としている (請求項 1記 載の発明) 。
なお、 前記再生樹脂 3は、 上記した他にポリスチレンやメタクリル樹脂でも略 同様に実施することができる。 前記導電性樹脂 4についても上記に限定されない。 また、 図 1の例では、 前記導電性部分 4 bは管体の円周方向に等分して 1 2個 設けて実施されているが、 このように多数の導電性部分 4 bを設けた理由は、 ァ ースする導電性部分 4 bの位置に使用上特に留意することなく、 流動棚又は駆動 コンベア等の構造体を自由に構築できるようにするためである。 言い換えれば、 アース可能な構造体を構築するためには、 少なくとも 1個の導電性部分 4 bを管 軸方向に連続して有していれば良いが、 そうすると、 当該 1個の導電性部分 4 b の位置を考盧しつつ構造体を構築しなければならないのである。
前記導電性樹脂 4は、 前記再生樹脂 3の外周面に薄く幅広な層状部分 4 aと比 較的厚く幅狭な層状部分 (即ち、 導電性部分) 4 bとで被覆されている。 よって、 必然的に、 前記再生樹脂 3は、 比較的厚く幅広な層状部分 3 aと比較的薄く幅狭 な層状部分 3 bとで被覆されていることになる。 図 1に示した導電性樹脂被覆鋼 管 1は、 薄肉鋼管 2は円形断面であり、 導電性樹脂 4は、 前記再生樹脂 3の外周 面に沿って、 比較的薄く幅広な層状部分 4 aと比較的厚く幅狭な層状部分 (導電 性部分) 4 bとを交互に、 且つそれぞれ 1 2等分割 (等分割) した形状で被覆さ れている (請求項 2記載の発明) 。 もちろん、 1 2等分割に限定されることはな レ、。
具体的に、 図 1の例では、 前記薄肉鋼管 2は、 肉厚 l mm弱程度、 外径 2 6〜 3 O mm程度の大きさが使用されている。 前記導電性樹脂 4について、 比較的薄 く幅広な層状部分 4 aは、 その厚さは 0 . 2 mm程度とされ、 比較的厚く幅狭な 層状部分 (導電性部分) 4 bは、 その厚さは 0 · 7 mm程度、 幅は 2 mm程度と されている (請求項 3記載の発明) 。 前記再生樹脂 3について、 比較的厚く幅広 な層状部分 3 aは、 その厚さは 0 . 7 mm程度とされ、 比較的薄く幅狭な層状部 分 3 bは、 その厚さは 0 . 2 mm程度とされている。 したがって、 全体として外 径 2 7 . 8〜3 2 mm程度の円形断面となる導電性樹脂被覆鋼管 1が押し出し成 形されるのである。
更に、 前記導電性樹脂被覆鋼管 1について、 前記導電性樹脂 4は、 着色剤を添 加してグリーンやアイボリ一等の有彩色とされている (請求項 4記載の発明) 。
したがって、 上記した導電性樹脂被覆鋼管 1によれば、 ( 1 ) 安価な再生樹脂 3の使用量をできるだけ多く使用して、 高価なフィラーを混合した導電性樹脂 4 の使用量を導電性を発生させるのに必要な量に制限して実施しているので、 環境 保全を考慮した廃材資源の有効活用ができると共に、 製造単価の引き下げを図る ことができる。 もちろん、 アースも可能となる。 (2 ) フィラーを混合している ので、 色落ちによる汚れの虞もない。 (3 ) グリーンやアイボリ一等の着色剤を 添加して所望する有彩色として実施するので、 美観を高め、 明るい色彩一色で実 施できることはもちろん、 作業環境を配慮した色彩を選択することができる。 次に、 上記のように構成される導電性樹脂被覆鋼管を製造する、 請求項 5記載 の発明に係る導電性樹脂被覆鋼管の押し出し成形方法の実施形態を、 図 .2以下に 基づいて説明する。
図 2と図 3は、 上記の押し出し成形方法の実施に使用されるクロスダイス形式 の押し出し成形機を示している。 図 2中の符号 1 0は押し出し成形機の主要部で あるクロスダイスの口金部分の構造を指している。 基本的な構造は、 本出願人が 既に取得した特許第 2 8 6 7 2 4 4号公報に記載の押し出し成形機と略同様であ る。
即ち、 この押し出し成形機は、 図示略したクロスダイスの先端に取り付けられ たアダプタ 1 1の先側に、 分配駒 1 4と内層樹脂口金 1 5が分配板 1 2によって 設置され、 更にその先に放射状分配駒 1 6と外層樹脂口金 1 7が分配板 1 3によ つて設置され、 当該分配板 1 2、 1 3は当接して固着されている。 前記分配板 1 2、 1 3の接線上の上部に加熱筒子シリンダを連結した連結駒 2 0が接続され、 内層樹脂口金 1 5に、 クロスダイスからの再生樹脂 3を薄肉鋼管 2の外周面に接 着被覆し、 続いて、 前記外層樹脂口金 1 7にて加熱筒子シリンダからの導電性樹 脂 4を前記再生樹脂 3の外周面に被覆する構成としている。 前記連結駒 2 0から前記外層樹脂口金 1 7に至る導電性樹脂 4の流路は、 薄肉 鋼管 2を中心とする大きな半円状の第 1の流路 1 8の分岐した両端が、 内側に小 径の第 2の流路 1 9、 1 9と接続されている。 前記第 2の流路 1 9、 1 9は、 中 心に向かって均等に押し出されるように流路 1 9、 1 9同士の接続部を絞る形態 とされている。
前記第 2の流路 1 9、 1 9力、らは、 放射状分配駒 1 6の放射状に形成した流路 と、 外層樹脂口金 1 7の放射状の流路 1 7 aと通孔 1 7 bへと繋がっている (図 5参照) 。
前記内層樹脂口金 1 5は、 図 4 A、 Bに示したように、 再生樹脂 3を被覆する 通孔 1 5 aに、 薄肉部を形成する幅 2 mmの突条と 0 . 7 mm程度の肉厚部を形 成する態様で、 それぞれ 1 2等分の溝 1 5 bを管軸方向に形成している。
外層樹脂口金 1 7は、 図 5 A、 Bに示したように、 導電性樹脂 4を前記再生樹 脂 3に被覆するために、 内層樹脂口金 1 5の薄肉部を形成する突条に位置する配 匱で、 略同一幅とした放射状の流路 1 7 aと導電性樹脂被覆鋼管 1の^^となる 通孔 1 Ί bを开成している。
上記成形機で導電性樹脂被覆鋼管 1を押し出し成形するには、 先ず、 薄肉鋼管 2を図示略したクロスダイスから右方へ進行させ、 アダプタ 1 1、 分配駒 1 4、 内層樹脂口金 1 5へと供給された再生樹脂 3により接着被覆される。
つづいて、 前記薄肉鋼管 2が外層樹脂口金 1 7に到^ fると、 連結駒 2 0から 第 1の流路 1 8と第 2の流路 1 9を経て放射状分配駒 1 6に通じ、 前記内層樹月旨 口金 1 5と外層樹脂口金 1 7との隙間、 及び流路 1 7 aから通孔 1 7 bに供給さ れた導電性樹脂 4が前記再生樹脂 3の外周面に被覆される。
つまり、 図 1に示したように、 前記再生樹脂 3と導電性樹脂 4は、 厚肉部と薄 肉部とをそれぞれ 1 2等分割されて被覆されて、 全体として が管軸方向に均 等断面の二層被覆構造に押し出し成形されるのである。
以上に実施形態を図面に基づいて説明したが、 本発明は、 図示例の実施形態の 限りではなく、 その技術的思想を逸脱しない範囲において、 当業者が通常に行う 設計変更、 応用のパリエーションの範囲を含むことを念のために言及する。 産業上の利用可能性
本発明に係る導電性樹脂被覆鋼管の押し出し成形方法により成形された当該鋼 管によれば、
I ) 安価な再生樹脂の使用量をできるだけ多く使用し、 高価なフィラーを混合 した導電性樹脂の使用量を導電性を発生させるのに必要な量に制限して実施して いるので、 環境保全を考慮した廃材資源の有効活用ができると共に、 製造単価の 引き下げを図ることができる。 もちろん、 アースも可能となる。
II) フィラーを混合しているので、 色落ちによる汚れの虞もない。
III) グリーンやアイボリ一等の着色剤を添加して所望する有彩色として実施す るので、 美観を高め、 明るい色彩一色で実施できることはもちろん、 作業環境を 配慮した色彩を選択することができる。
