Abstract

An absorbent inlay designed to be placed inside an absorbent article such as a nappy or incontinence pad as a liner above the absorption body in the article, comprises an elongated absorption layer (2) enclosed within a water permeable material cover (3). The absorption layer is 1-5 cm wide and is provided with attachments (4, 5), preferably parallel strips of pressure-sensitive adhesive covered with removable release film (6, 7) for securing the inlay inside the article.
