Abstract
Se dan a conocer composiciones asfalticas que comprenden asfalto regenerado y un agente de rejuvenecimiento. El asfalto regenerado comprende arido y un aglomerante envejecido. El agente de rejuvenecimiento, que tiene un contenido ciclico de al menos del 5% en peso, comprende un ester o una combinacion de esteres derivados de un acido seleccionado de acidos aromaticos, acidos grasos, monomeros de acidos grasos, dimeros de acidos grasos, trimeros de acidos grasos, acidos de colofonia, dimeros de acidos de colofonia, y mezclas de los mismos. El agente de rejuvenecimiento revitaliza el aglomerante de alquitran envejecido del asfalto regenerado y restablece sus propiedades fisicas a las del alquitran de calidad de rendimiento original. Las mejoras incluyen ablandamiento deseable, resistencia al agrietamiento a baja temperatura, mejor resistencia al agrietamiento por fatiga, buen rendimiento a temperatura elevada, miscibilidad mejorada y sensibilidad a la temperatura restablecida.
