Abstract

레이저원(레이저 다이오드), 다수의 광 소자, 빔 분할기, 집속 수단(마이크로렌즈) 및 수광 수단(광 다이오드)을 포함하는 광 픽업이 기술된다. 다수의 광 소자는 레이저 다이오드로부터 방출되는 레이저 빔을 광자기디스크상에 집속하고, 광자기 디스크로부터 반사된 레이저 빔을 수광 소자상에 집속한다. 빔 분할기는 제1표면에서 이 레이저 빔의 일부를 반사시키고, 제1표면에서 이 레이저 빔의 다른 일부를 굴절시킴으로써 레이저 다이오드로부터 방출되는 레이저 빔을 분할한다. 반사된 부분은 광 소자로 들어가고, 굴절된 부분은 빔 분할기를 통과하여 제2표면으로부터 출사된다. 마이크로렌즈는 이온 교환 방법에 의해 빔 분할기의 제2표면상에 일체로 형성된다. 또한, 마이크로렌즈는 제2표면으로부터 출사되는 빔을 집속한다. 수광 소자는 마이크로렌즈에 의해 집속되는 빔을 검출한다. 레이저원, 빔 분할기, 마이크로렌즈 및 수광 소자는 공통 기판상에 장착된다.

제1도는 본 발명의 실시예를 따른 광픽업의 중요 부분을 도시한 도면으로서, 제1(a)도는 이의 정면도이고, 제1(b)도는 이의 투시도이다. 제2도는 본 발명의 다른 실시예에 따른 광 픽업의 중요 부분의 투시도이다.

Claims (7)

  1. 레이저 빔을 방출하는 레이저원; 상기 레이저 빔을 광자기 디스크상에 집속하고, 상기 광자기 디스크로부터 반사되는 반사된 레이저 빔을 수광 소자상에 집속하기 위한 다수의 광 소자; 상기 레이저 빔을, 상기 광소자로 들어가는 제1분할 빔 및 제2분할 빔으로 분할하기 위한 분할 수단; 상기 제2분할 빔을 집속하기 위한 집광 수단; 및 상기 집광 수단의 초점에서 상기 제2분할 빔을 검출하기 위한 수광 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 픽업.
  2. 레이저 빔을 방출하는 레이저 다이오드; 상기 레이저 빔을 광자기 디스크상에 집속하고, 상기 광자기 디스크로부터 반사되는 반사된 레이저 빔을 수광하는 수광 소자상에 집속하기 위한 다수의 광 소자; 상기 레이저 빔을, 상기 광 소자로 들어가는 제1분할 빔 및 제2분할 빔으로 분할하기 위한 분할 수단; 상기 제2분할 빔을 집속하기 위한 집광 수단; 상기 제2분할 빔에 응답하는 레벨을 갖는 검출 신호를 생성하기 위해 상기 집광 수단의 초점에서 상기 제2분할 빔을 검출하기 위한 수광 수단; 및 타겟 레벨과 상기 검출 신호의 레벨 사이의 차이를 감소시키도록 상기 레이저 다이오드에 인가된 구동 전류를 제어하기 위한 제어 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 픽업.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 레이저원, 상기 분할 수단, 상기 집광 수단 및 상기 수광 수단이 공통 기판상에 장착되는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 픽업.
  4. 레이저 빔을 방출하는 레이저원; 상기 레이저 빔을 광자기 디스크상에 집속하고, 상기 광자기 디스크로부터 반사되는 반사된 레이저 빔을 수광 소자상에 집속하기 위한 다수의 광 소자; 제1표면에서 상기 레이저 빔의 일부를 반사시키고, 상기 제1표면에서 상기 레이저 빔의 다른 일부를 굴절시킴으로써 상기 레이저 빔을 분할하기 위한 빔 분할기와, 상기 반사된 부분은 상기 광 소자들로 들어가고, 상기 굴절된 부분은 상기 빔 분할기를 통과하여 제2표면으로부터 출사되며; 상기 빔 분할기의 상기 제2표면으로부터 출사되는 상기 빔을 집속하고, 상기 제2표면상에 일체로 형성되는 마이크로렌즈; 상기 마이크로렌즈의 초점에서 마이크로렌즈에 의해 집속되는 상기 빔을 검출하기 위한 수광 소자; 및 상기 레이저원, 상기 빔 분할기, 상기 마이크로렌즈, 및 상기 수광소자가 장착된 기판을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 픽업.
  5. 레이저 빔을 방출하기 위한 레이저원; 상기 레이저 빔을 제1분할 빔 및 제2분할 빔으로 상기 레이저 빔을 분할하기 위한 분할 수단; 상기 제2분할 빔을 집광하기 위한 집광 수단; 상기 제2분할 빔을 검출하고, 상기 제2분할 빔에 응답하여 검출 신호를 출력하기 위한 수광 소자; 및 상기 레이저원, 상기 분할 수단, 상기 집광 수단 및 상기 수광 소자가 장착된 기판을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 픽업.
  6. 레이저 빔을 방출하기 위한 레이저원; 제1표면에서 상기 레이저 빔의 일부를 반사시키고, 상기 제1표면에서 상기 레이저 빔의 다른 일부를 굴절시킴으로써 상기 레이저 빔을 분할하기 위한 빔 분할기와, 상기 굴절된 부분은 상기 빔 분할기를 통과하여 제2표면에서 출사되며; 상기 빔 분할기의 상기 제2표면으로부터 출사되는 상기 빔을 집속하고, 상기 제2표면상에 일체로 형성되는 마이크로렌즈; 상기 마이크로렌즈의 초점에 마이크로렌즈에 의해 집속되는 상기 빔을 검출하고, 상기 마이크로렌즈에 의해 집속되는 상기 빔에 응답하여 검출 신호를 출력하기 위한 수광 소자; 및 상기 레이저원, 상기 빔 분할기, 상기 마이크로렌즈 및 상기 수광 소자가 장착된 기판을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 픽업.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 수광 소자는 그 위에 반사 방지막을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 픽업.
