Abstract
Description
도 2 는, 예 1 의 본 발명 1 에 따른 미세구조의 후방산란 SEM-이미지를 보여주는데, 검정색 영역은 미용해 TiC 코어를 나타내고, 흰색 영역은 새로 형성된 (Ti,W,Mx)C 결정립을 나타내며, 진회색 영역은 바인더상 Co(Cr) 를 나타낸다.
도 3 은, 예 1 의 본 발명 4 에 따른 미세구조의 후방산란 SEM-이미지를 보여주는데, 검정색 영역은 미용해 TiC 코어를 나타내고, 흰색 영역은 새로 형성된 (Ti,W,Mx)C 결정립을 나타내며, 진회색 영역은 바인더상 Co(Cr) 를 나타낸다.
도 4 는, 예 2 의 참조 1 의 미세구조의 후방산란 SEM-이미지를 보여주는데, 검정색 영역 (B) 은 미용해 TiC 코어를 나타내고, 2 개의 다른 종류의 새로 형성된 (Ti,W)C 결정립을 볼 수 있는데, 그 중 W 함량이 높은 것을 흰색 영역 (A) 으로, W 함량이 낮은 것을 넓은 밝은 회색 영역 (D) 으로 나타내었고, Co-바인더상을 진회색 영역 (C) 으로 나타내었다.
도 5 는, 예 2 의 참조 3 의 미세구조의 후방산란 SEM-이미지를 보여주는데,회갈색 영역은 새로 형성된 (Ti,W,Ta,Nb)C 결정립을 나타내고, 흰색 영역은 6방정계 WC 결정립을 나타내며, 진회색 영역은 Co-바인더상을 나타낸다.
Claims (15)
- 원자비 Ti/W 가 2 ~ 5 가 되도록 TiC 및 WC 를, 바인더상으로서 5 ~ 25 vol% 의 양으로 코발트를, 원자비 Ti/Mx 가 4 ~ 20 이 되고 원자비 W/Mx 가 1 ~ 6 이 되도록 적어도 하나의 주기율표 Ⅴ족 원소 (Mx) 를, 그리고 원자비 Cr/Co 가 0.025 ~ 0.14 가 되도록 하는 양으로 Cr 을 포함하는 서멧체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 0.2 wt% 미만의 질소를 포함하는 서멧체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 원자비 Cr/Co 는 0.035 ~ 0.09 인 것을 특징으로 하는 서멧체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 원자비 Ti/Mx 는 5 ~ 18 인 것을 특징으로 하는 서멧체.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 4 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 원자비 W/Mx 는 1.5 ~ 5 인 것을 특징으로 하는 서멧체.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 4 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 원자비 Ti/W 가 3 ~ 4 인 것을 특징으로 하는 서멧체.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 4 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, Mx 가 Nb 인 것을 특징으로 하는 서멧체.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 4 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 동일한 영역에서 측정된 TiC 코어의 개수와 새로 형성된 (Ti,W,Mx)C 결정립의 개수 사이의 비로서 정의되는 비 Q 가 6 미만인 것을 특징으로 하는 서멧체.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 4 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 서멧체는 절삭 공구 인서트인 것을 특징으로 하는 서멧체.
- - 원자비 Ti/W 가 2 ~ 5 가 되도록, TiC 및 WC 를,
- 원자비 Ti/Mx 가 4 ~ 20 이 되고 원자비 W/Mx 가 1 ~ 6 이 되도록, 적어도 하나의 주기율표 Ⅴ족 원소 (Mx) 의 탄화물을,
- 코발트 바인더상이 소결 후 서멧체의 5 ~ 25 vol% 를 구성하도록, 코발트 분말을, 그리고
- 원자비 Cr/Co 가 0.025 ~ 0.14 가 되도록 하는 양으로 Cr 을
포함하는 분말 혼합물을 형성하는 단계, 및
상기 분말 혼합물을 밀링, 과립화, 가압 및 소결시켜 서멧체를 형성하는 단계를 포함하는 서멧체의 제조 방법. - 제 10 항에 있어서, 상기 원자비 Ti/Mx 는 5 ~ 18 인 것을 특징으로 하는 서멧체의 제조 방법.
- 제 10 항에 있어서, 상기 원자비 W/Mx 는 1.5 ~ 5 인 것을 특징으로 하는 서멧체의 제조 방법.
- 제 10 항 내지 제 12 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, Mx 가 Nb 인 것을 특징으로 하는 서멧체의 제조 방법.
- 제 10 항 내지 제 12 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 원자비 Cr/Co 는 0.035 ~ 0.09 인 것을 특징으로 하는 서멧체의 제조 방법.
- 제 10 항 내지 제 12 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, Cr 을 Cr3C2 분말로서 첨가하는 것을 특징으로 하는 서멧체의 제조 방법.
