Abstract
PURPOSE: To easily open or close a door by constituting the lock device of a lock device body which is attached to a case body and an engaging member which is attached to the door and providing such a lock device as is automatically locked when closing the door and kept in an unlocked state when opening the door. CONSTITUTION: When closing a door 2, the door 2 is slightly pressed on a case body 1, then, an engaging member 7 comes into contact with a claw 14 of a fixing member 13 and the member 13 is pushed around from the opening position to the cloding position. An engaging claw 17 of the fixing member 13 is led from a disengaging groove 31 to an engaging groove 30 and turned to the locking position to prevent the fixing member 13 from returning to the opening position. When opening the door 2, a lock element 28 is turned to the unlocking position by an operation part 32, then, the tip of an insertion piece 22 is inserted in the disengaging groove 31 and the lock element 28 is retained in the unlocking position. Thereafter, when the door 2 is opened, the engaging member 7 retreats and the fixing member 13 is positioned in the opening location. In this way, the thickness of the outer shape can be lessened, and the lock device can be used even in a narrow space.
