Abstract

PURPOSE:To properly control and maintain the temperature in a fluidized bed, by cooling and discharging solid particles dripping down through a static layer, by circulating the discharged particles to a fluidized-bed layer, and by controlling the circulation rate of those particles. CONSTITUTION:A fluidized-bed layer 2' is formed by fluidizing solid particles 2a in the upper part of a solid particle layer 2 by fluidizing gas injection nozzles 3. While solid particles 2a in a static layer 2' gradually dripping to the direction of a discharge port 8 are cooled by a solid particle cooling device 4, and are discharged from the discharge port 8. The circulation rate to the fluidized-bed layer 2' is controlled by a circulation rate controlling device 6 in accordance with the discharge rate of solid particles 2a in order to control the temperature in the fluidized-bed layer 2'.
