Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent output down during restraining the knocking by a method wherein a means for increasing fuel supply, operated by a knocking sensor, is provided in the fuel supplying device of the spark ignition type internal-combustion engine. CONSTITUTION:The increasing means 12 of the supplying amount of fuel, consisting of a bypass passage 13 and an electromagnetic valve 14, is provided in a carburettor 3 at a fuel passage 11 equipped with a main jet 10 supplying the fuel to a main nozzle, a slow port, an idle port and the like from a float chamber 9. When the knocking occurred in the engine 1, a solenoid valve 14 is opened by a detecting signal from the knocking sensor 8 through a control circuit 15, therefore,the amount of the fuel supply from the main nozzle, the slow port and the idle port is increased than the same under the controlling time of the main jet 10. Accordingly, the air to fuel ratio becomes richer and the temperature of the inside of a combustion chamber and the mixture are lowered, thereby restraining the knocking. Next, when the knocking is eliminated, the a solenoid valve 14 is closed and the supply of the fuel is returned to the initial condition thereof.
