Abstract
PURPOSE: To attain to reutilize a waste material efficiently and economically by adding a predetermined amount of water as a digesting agent to agglomerate an industrial waste material with a high CaO content in a powder form without creating redusting or the like.
CONSTITUTION: To an industrial waste material with a high CaO content in a fine powder form such as dusts generated from a converter or an electric furnace, water is added in an amount of 1.4W1.7 times against a theoretical digesting reaction of water necessary for digesting the contained CaO into Ca(OH)2 and mixed with said industrial waste material and this mixture is left for about 8hr. to complete the CaO digestion, thereafter the waste material is subjected to the agglomerating treatment. Subsequently, this treated waste material is appropriately granulated by a pelletizer or the like. Moreover, if it is desirable to shorten above described digesting and leaving time, an aqueous solution of a digestion promoting agent (MgCl2, Al2(SO4)3 or the like) may be added along with water.
