Abstract

PURPOSE: To realize the time correction method which can correct the time difference among plural number of computers by giving consideration to the time required for the data transmission when the data of the time function is transmitted.
CONSTITUTION: The control system in which plural number of computers are connected via the data transmission line comprises master station MST1 which controls the entire system, data transmission unit 2, remote station RST3 which performs various types of measurement, control and others, and transmission line 4 each. As MST1 performs the entire time control, it sends time TO+TS obtained by adding time TO of MST1 of the time transmission time to addition time TS considering the transmission time to RST3 in the form of the time data. The time when received this data at RST3 means time TO+TSO wihch elapsed time TSO required for the actual transmission. Here TS≃TSO is satisfied, and thus RST3 sets its time to TO+TS. And as a result, time shift ΔT at RST3 is almost zero, thus eliminating the trouble of time shift.
