Abstract
NEW MATERIAL:A novel species of Flavobacterium genus, Flavobacterium aminogenes capable of producing an enzyme which converts 5-hydroxytryptophanhydantoin into L-5-hydroxytryptophan.
EXAMPLE: Flavobacterium aminogenes AJ-3912 (FERM-P No.3133).
