個以上有した軸受用密封材の補強部材5aの外周縁を構成
する外周穴6bとを打抜き、該打抜形成された補強部材5
に接着剤を塗布した後、第4図に示すごとく弾性体素材
10aを供給し、これを中心穴6aを基準として上下一対の
金型9a・9bをもって焼付けまたは形付けしてシール部10
bを連続的または一度に多数個形成した後、第5図で示
すようにシール部10bを形成せしめた補強部材5に設け
ている連結片7を切離して、第6図で示す軸受用密封材
Aを得る軸受用密封材であって、第3図の如く前記連結
片7の密封材側に位置し弾性体素材10bにより形成した
シール部10bで被覆される箇所へ容易に切断できる脆弱

れる。前記シール部10bを形成せしめた補強部材5aは、
第5図のように軸受用密封材Aになり部分はパンチ14と
クッション15で挟んで保持し、不要部分すなわち取り除
かれる補強部材5及びバリ11は押え金具12とダイス13で
挟んで上下に位置をずらせることにより、該連結片7の
脆弱部8の部分でちぎれ、軸受用密封材Aは補強部材5
より切り離されて、第6図のごとく脆弱部8の箇所より
外方向に小さな穴を残すが、従来の密封材の芯金と同じ
ように補強芯材5aは軸受用密封材Aを構成する弾性体素
材10aによるシール部10bで包覆され、外周部でのシール
