Claims (7)
- 希土類物質を含む磁石材料粒子を含み、長さ方向に延びる第1の表面と、該第1の表面から厚み方向に間隔をもった位置にあり長さ方向に延びる第2の表面と、長さ方向両端部の端面とを有する長さ方向断面形状をもつ方形に、該磁石材料粒子が一体に焼結成形された、希土類永久磁石形成用焼結体であって、
長さ方向にみて両端の第1及び第2の端部領域の間に、これら端部領域と一体の焼結体として連続して位置する中央領域においては、該中央領域に含まれる前記磁石材料粒子は、その磁化容易軸が、前記中央領域の長さ方向中央部を通り前記第1の表面に垂直な長さ方向中心線より前記第1の端部領域の側に位置する部分で、前記第2の表面から前記焼結体の内部に入り、前記長さ方向中心線を長さ方向に横切り、前記中央領域の前記長さ方向中心線より前記第2の端部領域の側に位置する部分で、前記第2の表面に向けられる経路に沿って指向するように配向され、
前記第1の端部領域においては、該第1の領域に含まれる前記磁石材料粒子は、その磁化容易軸が前記第2の表面から前記焼結体の内部に入り、前記第1の表面に向けられるように配向され、
前記第2の端部領域においては、該第2の領域に含まれる前記磁石材料粒子は、その磁化容易軸が前記第1の表面から前記焼結体の内部に入り、前記第2の表面に向けられるように配向され、
該第1及び第2の端部領域の各々に含まれる前記磁石材料粒子の磁化容易軸は、前記第2の表面に対してほぼ直角の方向に向けられるようにパラレル配向された
ことを特徴とする希土類永久磁石形成用焼結体。 - 請求項1に記載した希土類永久磁石形成用焼結体であって、
前記第1及び第2の端部領域に含まれる前記磁石材料粒子の磁化容易軸は、前記第1の表面に対してほぼ直角の方向に向けられるようにパラレル配向されており、
前記中央領域に含まれる前記磁石材料粒子の磁化容易軸は、前記中央領域の長さ方向中心線を長さ方向の原点とし、該長さ方向中心線から前記第2の端部領域方向の距離を+b、該長さ方向中心線から前記第1の端部領域方向の距離を−b、中央領域と前記第1および第2の端部領域との境界までの距離をbmaxとしたとき、該磁化容易軸の配向方向と前記第1の表面との間の角度として定義される配向角θが、
θ(°)=(b/bmax)×c×90(但しcは定数であり、配向角θは左回り方向を正とし、右回り方向を負とし、(b/bmax)×c<−1のときはθ=−90°、(b/bmax)×c>1のときはθ=90°とする)
となるように配向され、該配向角は、該長さ方向中心線からの距離bが同一の位置においては厚み方向にほぼ一定である
ことを特徴とする希土類永久磁石形成用焼結体。 - 請求項1又は請求項2に記載した希土類永久磁石形成用焼結体であって、
前記中央領域に含まれる前記磁石材料粒子の磁化容易軸は、前記中央領域の長さ方向中心線を長さ方向の原点とし、該長さ方向中心線から前記第2の端部領域方向の距離を+b、該長さ方向中心線から前記第1の端部領域方向の距離を−b、中央領域と前記第1および第2の端部領域との境界までの距離をbmaxとしたとき、該磁化容易軸の配向方向と前記第1の表面との間の角度として定義される配向角θが、
θ(°)=(b/bmax)×c×90(但し、配向角θは左回り方向を正とし、右回り方向を負とし、(b/bmax)×c<−1のときはθ=−90°、(b/bmax)×c>1のときはθ=90°とする)
となるように配向され、前記cは、前記第1の表面において最小となり、前記第2の表面において最大となるように、該第1の表面から該第2の表面に向けて厚み方向に漸次増加するように変化する係数である
ことを特徴とする希土類永久磁石形成用焼結体。 - 請求項1から請求項3までのいずれか1項に記載した希土類永久磁石形成用焼結体であって、前記磁石材料粒子はNd−Fe−B系磁石材料であることを特徴とする希土類永久磁石形成用焼結体。
- 請求項1から請求項4までのいずれか1項に記載した希土類永久磁石形成用焼結体に着磁することによって作製されたことを特徴とする希土類永久磁石。
- 請求項5に記載した希土類永久磁石を備える可動子と、該希土類永久磁石の前記第1の表面に対して間隔をもって配置された固定磁極とからなり、前記希土類永久磁石形成用焼結体の前記第2の表面に対応する前記希土類永久磁石の表面に対してバックヨークが配置されていない
ことを特徴とするリニアモータ。 - 請求項6に記載したリニアモータであって、前記可動子の前記希土類磁石は、長さ方向が該可動子の移動方向に平行になるように配置されたことを特徴とするリニアモータ。
