X=[1−(AI/BI)/(AO/BO)]×100
架橋性アクリル重合体の製造
窒素ガスが還流され、温度調節が容易になるように冷却装置を設置した1L反応器にn−ブチルアクリレート99重量部及びヒドロキシエチルメタクリレート1.0重量部を投入した。溶剤としてエチルアセテート120重量部を投入し、酸素除去のために窒素ガスを60分間パージング(purging)した。その後、温度を60℃に維持し、反応開始剤であるアゾビスイソブチロニトリル(AIBN)0.03重量部を投入し、約8時間程度反応させた。反応終了後、エチルアセテートで固形分の濃度が約15重量%程度になるように希釈し、分子量(Mw)が165万程度であり、分子量分布が4.7程度である架橋性アクリル重合体溶液を製造した。
製造されたアクリル重合体溶液の固形分100重量部に3官能型ウレタンアクリレートであるトリスアクリロキシエチルイソシアヌレート20重量部、イソシアネート架橋剤(D110N、日本国三井武田社製)1.0重量部、光開始剤であるヒドロキシシクロヘキシルフェニルケトン(スイスチバ・スペシャリティ・ケミカルズ社製)1.4重量部及びベータ−シアノアセチル基を有するシランカップリング剤(M812、LG化学社製)0.3重量部を配合し、コーティング液の固形分の濃度が約15重量%になるように希釈し、粘着剤組成物を製造した。
製造された粘着剤組成物を離型処理された厚さ38μmのPET(poly(ethylene terephthalate)フィルム(MRF−38、三菱社製)の離型処理面に乾燥後の厚さが25μm程度になるように塗布し、110℃のオーブンで3分間保管した。その後、塗布層を恒温恒湿室(23℃、55%相対湿度)で1日程度保管した後、片面にWV(Wide View)液晶層がコーティングされた偏光板のWVコーティング層に塗布層をラミネートした。次に、高圧水銀ランプで塗布層に紫外線を照射(照度:550mW/cm2、光量:250mJ/cm2)して粘着剤層を形成し、一面に粘着剤層が形成された粘着偏光板を製造した。
粘着剤組成物の各成分の比率及び紫外線の照射条件を下記表1のように調節したことを除いて、実施例1に準ずる方法で粘着偏光板を製造した。
粘着剤層を7日程度恒温恒湿室(23℃、60%相対湿度)で保管し、0.3g(A)の粘着剤を採取し、ステンレス200メッシュ鉄網に入れた後、100mLのエチルアセテートで沈積させ、常温の暗室で3日間保管する。保管後、エチルアセテートに溶解しない粘着剤を採取し、これを70℃で4時間乾燥させた後、質量(B)を測定し、これを下記数式1に代入し、ゲル分率を測定する。
ゲル分率(%)=B/A×100
粘着偏光板を幅が25mm、長さが100mmになるように裁断した後、離型PETを除去し、無アルカリガラスにラミネータを利用して付着する。上記付着は、JIS Z 0237によって2kgのローラーを利用して行う。その後、オートクレーブ(50℃、5気圧)で約20分間圧着処理した後、恒温恒湿条件(23℃、50%相対湿度)で4時間保管する。測定装備(Texture analyzer、英国ステイブルマイクロシステム社製)で300mm/minの剥離速度及び180度の剥離角度でガラスから偏光板を剥離しながら剥離力を評価し、また、下記基準によって再剥離性を評価する。
〈再剥離性評価基準〉
○:付着後1日経過後、剥離力が800N/25mm以下の場合
△:付着後1日経過後、剥離力が1000N/25mm以上の場合
×:付着後1日経過後、剥離力が2000N/25mm以上の場合
粘着偏光板を幅が180mm、長さが250mmになるように裁断し、試料を製造する。試料を19インチ市販パネルにラミネータを利用して付着し、オートクレーブ(50℃、5気圧)で約20分間圧着処理した後、恒温恒湿条件(23℃、50%相対湿度)で24時間保管し、サンプルを製造する。
〈耐久性評価基準〉
○:気泡及び剥離が発生しない場合
△:気泡及び/または剥離が少し発生した場合
×:気泡及び/または剥離が多量発生した場合
光透過均一性の評価は、耐久性評価と同一のサンプルを使用して行う。具体的には、サンプル(一面に粘着剤層が形成された偏光板)を22インチモニター(LG Philips LCD社製)に付着し、1日程度保管した後、80℃のオーブンで240時間放置した後、モニターの4つのコーナー及び中心部で光透過均一性を評価する。光透過均一性は、スペクトロラジオメーターCS−2000(日本国コニカミノルタ社製)でモニターの中心部を基準にして上下及び左右の一定間隔で輝度を測定し、モニターの中心部を基準にして輝度上昇比率を計算して評価することができる。上下または左右で輝度の上昇比率が高いほど光漏れが大きく発生していることを意味する。
下記方式によってIPN構造を具現する前及び後の粘着剤組成物に対してそれぞれIRスペクトルを測定し、AI、BI、AO及びBOをそれぞれ求め、一般式1によってX値を求める。

Claims (7)
- 架橋性アクリル重合体;
上記架橋性アクリル重合体100重量部に対して0.01〜5重量部で含まれ、上記架橋性アクリル重合体と反応して架橋構造を具現する架橋剤;
上記架橋性アクリル重合体100重量部に対して20〜40重量部で含まれる、3官能性多官能性アクリレート;及び
上記架橋性アクリル重合体100重量部に対して1.0〜10重量部で含まれる、ラジカル開始剤を含み、上記ラジカル開始剤は光開始剤であり、硬化すれば、相互浸透高分子ネットワークを具現することができる粘着剤組成物に、下記一般式1によるXが60%〜80%になるように光を照射することを含む、粘着剤の製造方法:

上記一般式1で、AIは、上記粘着剤に対するIRスペクトルにおいて795〜820cm−1の間に存在するピークの面積であり、BIは、上記粘着剤に対するIRスペクトルにおいて1780〜1650cm−1の間に存在するピークの面積であり、AOは、上記粘着剤組成物のIRスペクトルにおいて795〜820cm−1の間に存在するピークの面積であり、BOは、上記粘着剤組成物のIRスペクトルにおいて1780〜1650cm−1の間に存在するピークの面積である。 - 上記架橋性アクリル重合体は、重量平均分子量が100万以上である、請求項1に記載の粘着剤の製造方法。
- 上記架橋性アクリル重合体は、(メタ)アクリル酸エステル単量体80〜99.9重量部及び架橋性単量体0.01〜20重量部を重合単位として含む、請求項1に記載の粘着剤の製造方法。
- 上記架橋剤がイソシアネート架橋剤、エポキシ架橋剤、アジリジン架橋剤または金属キレート架橋剤である、請求項1に記載の粘着剤の製造方法。
- 上記多官能性アクリレートは、環状構造またはウレタン結合を含む、請求項1に記載の粘着剤の製造方法。
- 上記相互浸透高分子ネットワークは、上記架橋剤により架橋された上記アクリル重合体による架橋構造及び重合された上記多官能性アクリレートにより具現された架橋構造を含む、請求項1に記載の粘着剤の製造方法。
- 上記粘着剤組成物は、シランカップリング剤または粘着性付与剤をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の粘着剤の製造方法。
