Claims (3)
- 自車両の前方の走行環境を認識して立体物情報を検出する走行環境認識手段と、
自車両の前方に存在する立体物の中から予め設定した条件に基づいて制御対象を抽出する制御対象抽出手段と、
自車両と前記制御対象との相対関係に基づき、制動レベルの異なる複数の制動制御を必要に応じて段階的に行う制動制御手段と、
前記制御対象として抽出された立体物の高さが設定高さ未満であるとき、当該立体物の高さが低いほど、多くの前記制動制御の実行を制動レベルの高いものから順次段階的に禁止する禁止手段と、を備えたことを特徴とする車両用運転支援装置。 - 前記設定高さは、自車両の最低地上高よりも低い高さに設定されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の車両用運転支援装置。
- 前記禁止手段は、自車速が高くなるほど多くの前記制動制御の実行を禁止することを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の車両用運転支援装置。
