Description
本出願は、2015年10月27日に出願された「スイング吸着プロセス用の装置及びシステム」と題された米国特許仮出願第62/246,916号の利益を主張し、その全体が引用により本明細書に組み込まれる。
本発明の技術は、強化されたスイング吸着プロセスに関連するシステム及び方法に関する。詳細には、本システムは、吸着床ユニットを利用して供給ストリームから汚染物質を除去するスイング吸着プロセスに関する。
Claims (38)

内部領域を形成するハウジングと、
前記内部領域内に配置された吸着床と、
前記ハウジングに固定された複数の弁と、を備え、
前記複数の弁の各々は、前記ハウジングの外部の位置から導管を通って前記吸着床まで延びる流路に沿って流体流れを制御するように構成され、
前記複数の弁のうちの少なくとも1つは、前記吸着床の境界面断面領域の少なくとも部分的に外側に配置された弁断面領域を有する、

a)吸着床ユニットにおいて1又は2以上の吸着ステップを実行するステップを含み、前記1又は2以上の吸着ステップの各々は、
(i)供給入口導管から、前記吸着床ユニットのハウジングの内部領域に配置された吸着床へガス状供給ストリームを送るために複数の供給ポペット弁を開くステップであって、前記複数の供給ポペット弁の各々は、前記供給入口導管と直接的に流れ連通して、前記ハウジングの外部の位置から前記供給入口導管を通って前記吸着床に延びる流路に沿って流体流れを制御するよう構成されるようにし、前記複数の供給ポペット弁のうちの少なくとも1つは、前記吸着床の境界面断面領域の少なくとも部分的に外側に配置された弁断面領域を有するようにするステップと、
(ii)前記ガス状供給ストリームを前記吸着床に曝して前記ガス状供給ストリームから1又は2以上の汚染物質を分離して、生成物ストリームを形成するステップと、
(iii)前記生成物ストリームを前記ハウジングの前記内部領域から離れて生成物導管に導くように1又は2以上の生成物ポペット弁を開くステップと、を含み、
更に、
b)1又は2以上のパージステップを実行するステップであって、前記1又は2以上のパージステップの各々は、パージストリームを前記吸着床ユニットに送り、パージ出力ストリーム中の前記1又は2以上の汚染物質の少なくとも一部を分離して導くステップを含むステップと、
c)少なくとも1つの追加サイクルにおいて前記ステップa)からb)を繰り返すステップであって、サイクル持続時間が1秒を超えて600秒未満の期間であるステップと、を含む、
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記複数の供給ポペット弁を開くステップは、共通の作動機構を移動させて前記複数の弁を開くステップを更に含む、

請求項12ないし14のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 前記複数の供給ポペット弁を開くステップは、少なくとも1つの供給弁ステムに連結された供給ディスク要素と前記吸着床ユニットの前記ハウジングに固定された供給弁座との間に供給開口部を設けるように、前記少なくとも1つの供給弁ステムを供給作動機構と共に直線的に移動させるステップを更に含む、
請求項12ないし15のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 前記ガス状供給ストリームから1又は2以上の汚染物質を分離して前記生成物ストリームを形成するように、前記サイクル持続時間が1秒を超えて300秒未満の期間である、
請求項12ないし16のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 前記ガス状供給ストリームは、前記供給ストリームの全体積に基づいて1体積%を超える炭化水素を有する炭化水素含有ストリームである、

内部領域を有するハウジングを形成するステップと、
前記ハウジングの内部領域内に吸着床を配置するステップと、
複数の弁ポートを前記ハウジングに生成するステップと、
前記複数の弁ポートの各々において前記ハウジングに弁を固定して複数の弁を形成するステップであって、前記複数の弁の各々は、前記ハウジングの外部の位置から前記吸着床に延びる流路に沿って流体流れを制御するように構成されるようにし、前記複数の弁のうちの少なくとも1つは、前記吸着床の境界面断面領域の少なくとも部分的に外側に配置された弁断面領域を有するようにするステップと、を含む、

(i)供給入口導管から前記吸着床ユニットのハウジングの内部領域に配置された吸着床へガス状供給ストリームを送るために1又は2以上の供給ポペット弁を開くステップであって、前記1又は2以上の供給ポペット弁の各々は、前記供給入口導管と直接的に流れ連通して、前記ハウジングの外部の位置から前記供給入口導管を通って前記吸着床に延びる流路に沿って流体流れを制御するように構成されるようにするステップと、
(ii)前記ガス状供給ストリームを前記吸着床に曝して前記ガス状供給ストリームから1又は2以上の汚染物質を分離して、生成物ストリームを形成するステップと、
(iii)前記生成物ストリームを前記ハウジング内の内部領域から離れて生成物導管に導くように1又は2以上の生成物ポペット弁を開くステップと、を含み、
更に、
b)1又は2以上のパージステップを実行するステップであって、前記1又は2以上のパージステップの各々が、1又は2以上のパージポペット弁を介して前記吸着床ユニットにパージストリームを送り、1又は2以上のパージ出力ポペット弁を介してパージ出力ストリーム中の前記1又は2以上の汚染物質の少なくとも一部を分離して導くステップを含むステップと、
c)少なくとも1つの追加サイクルにおいて前記ステップa)からb)を繰り返すステップであって、サイクル持続時間が1秒を超えて600秒未満の期間であり、前記1又は2以上の供給ポペット弁、1又は2以上の生成物ポペット弁、1又は2以上のパージポペット弁或いは1又は2以上のパージ出力ポペット弁のうちの少なくとも1つは、前記吸着床の境界面断面領域の少なくとも部分的に外側に配置された弁断面領域を有するようにするステップと、を含む、
