Abstract
Description
符号1R、1Lは、図1に示すように、車両1の前部の左右にそれぞれ設けられる前照灯である。図1では車両1の記載は省略している。なお、図1〜図2の矢印L-R,矢印U-Dおよび矢印F-Bは、運転席から見た場合の左右方向、上下方向および前後方向を示している。前照灯1R、1Lは、開口部を有する箱状のランプボディ2と、その開口部に取り付けられた透光性のある樹脂又はガラス等で形成された前面カバー3とで灯室が画成されている。前照灯1R、1Lの灯室にはそれぞれ、ロービーム用の灯具ユニット6と、ハイビーム用の灯具ユニット7が配置されている。
図7も、本発明の好適な実施の形態である。なお、実施の形態1と同様の構成については同一の符号を付して説明を省略する。本形態でも、ハイビーム用の灯具ユニット7は、2つ以上配置される。実施の形態1と同様に、右前照灯1Rに第1の灯具ユニット71R、左前照灯1Lに第2の灯具ユニット71L(図示せず)が配置されている。図7は、右前照灯1Rに配置された第1の灯具ユニット71Rの縦断面図である。

Claims (4)
- 配光パターンが上下に分割されるように複数の光源が配列され光源ごとに点消灯を制御可能な光源アレイと、
前記光源からの出射光を車両前方に投影する光学系と、
前記配光パターンが左右方向にスイブルするように前記光源アレイ及び/又は前記光学系を駆動させる駆動手段と、
を有する灯具ユニットを少なくとも二つ備えることを特徴とする車両用前照灯。
- 前記光源は、前記光源アレイに、前記配光パターンが上下に分割される方向に一列のみ配列されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用前照灯。
- 前記光学系は、前記光源からの出射光を前記配光パターンの左右方向に拡散させることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の車両用前照灯。
- 前記光源アレイには、前記光源の配列の長手方向に沿って付加反射鏡が配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の車両用前照灯。
