Abstract
1. A fire extinguishing system for a fire fighting vehicle consisting of a tank filled with dry powder which is pressurized via a charging line by means of high-pressure propellant gas contained in separate tanks, with one or more consuming devices connected to the tank, characterized in that the fire extinguishing system is used as a combined dry powder and gas extinguishing system via separate consuming devices, where the high-pressure gas is an extinguishing gas, which is used both to charge the dry powder system and to extinguish fires, and in that the high-pressure gas is conducted to the dry powder tank by means of pressure reduction in the charging line in case of operation.
