Abstract
863,686. Helicopters. COSTRUZIONI AERONAUTICHE GIOVANNI AGUSTA S. p. A. May 13, 1959 [March 27, 1959], No. 16457/59. Class 4. A helicopter constructed for use as a crane has a three-arm structure 3 secured to the roof of the cabin 1 for the attachment at the apex of the structure of a hoist 4, 5 positioned vertically in line with the centre of gravity of the aircraft for lowering through an opening 2 in the floor of the cabin. In an alternative embodiment the hoist is mounted on the roof of the cabin and the lifting cable is positioned by passing it through a ring carried by the apex of the structure 3. Specification 863,865 is referred to.
