Abstract

718,990. Screwdrivers, handle fixings. ULFVING, S. E. H. June 17, 1952, No. 15206/52. Class 61. Double-ended screwdriver blades or other tools are reversibly and detachably mounted in the ends of a cylindrical rod 4 which is reversibly and detachably mounted in a hollow handle 1. The middle of the rod is provided with a pair of radially projecting pins or ribs which fit in recesses provided in a bushing 3 in the mouth of the hollow handle 1. A spring-pressed ball 9 inserted in a radial hole 8 in the rod locks the rod to the handle. The double-ended blades 12 and 16 are secured to the rod 4 in similar manner.
