Levels, regulating; indicators actuated by floats.-A device for regulating and indicating the level in the reservoir of the inking mechanism of printing machines comprises a float 2 carried by an arm 4 having a perforated sleeve 5 surrounding a perforated ink supply pipe 6, so that the supply is controlled according to the level in the reservoir 1. Rods 12, 13, 14 transmit the movements of the float to a rack 16 gearing with a pinion 17 carrying an indicating dial 19. The upper end of the rod 14 carries a striking knob 21, by which the float may be momentarily depressed to determine whether it is working properly.
