Abstract

247,008. Parkes, S. R. Feb. 9, 1925. Stays.-The stay-bar 10 is pivotally mounted on the fixed window frame by a pin 25, the pivotal movement of which is resisted by a coiled spring 28, the free end of the stay projecting through and slidably engaging a pivoted guide member 17 mounted on the window. The coiled spring is retained under compression between the boss 26 on the pin 25 and the attachment bracket 31, a washer 42 and cotter pin 43 retaining the parts in position. The guide member 17 is pivotally mounted by a pin 18 engaging a washer 19 and a bracket 15 of an attachment plate 16 secured to the casement.
