Abstract

An anti-swivel tow hitch assembly comprises an attachment platform and an actuator to enable the platform to be raised and lowered whilst attached to a tow hitch of a motor vehicle. The assembly can be used to tow a motorbike, scooter or trike.

DESCRIPTION
ANTI-SWIVEL TOW HITCH ASSEMBLY
The invention relates to an automobile anti-swivel tow hitch assembly with either fixed or adjustable height for platform carrier.
This device increases load carrying capabilities through the anti-swivel tow hitch assembly and it's attachments for adjustable height carrier platform, actuator driven.
The device can be adapted to tow motorbikes, scooters and trikes.
The anti-swivel tow hitch assembly will be either naked or covered dependent on application.
The platform carrier attachment will have the capability to be lowered and raised to the ground by remote controlled 24v actuator.
Figure (1) Shows anti-swivel tow hitch assembly without actuator and carrier platform.
Figure (2) Shows assembly and carrier in closed or (up) position ready for load carrying.
Figure (3) Shows assembly in open or down position ready for loading/unloading 1.

Claims (3)

  1. CLAIM(S) 1) An automotive anti-swivel tow hitch assembly comprising of means of attaching platform carrier to tow hitch with minimum swivel ability, load tested to 250 kgs.
  2. 2) Tow hitch assembly stabilised by item 10, part number 1L0009 baliside plates.
  3. 3) Tow hitch assembly platform to be adjusted in height with actuator and guide pillars and bush 1L0007 and 1L0008 4) Tow hitch to be able to lift and carry loads of upto lSOkgs specially adapted to tow motorbikes, scooters and trikes
