Abstract

188,441. Fletcher, H. P. Sept. 7, 1921. Hinges.-A concealed detachable hinge fitting for the doors of motor cars and other vehicles comprises a bent flap 15 secured to the door and formed with a socket member 16 with which engages a removable pivot pin 25 screwed into bracket members 22, 22a detachably held by screws 29 against a plate 7 of the framework. By removing the screws 29, the door can be removed without detaching either of the plates 7, 18. The plate 7 is formed with an angle piece 8 with the slot 13 of which engages lugs on the bracket members 22, 22<a> when these members are secured in the assembled position.
