Abstract

1399572 Luffing-arm apparatus CLARK EQUIPMENT CO 4 May 1973 [5 May 1972] 21401/73 Heading B8H A load handling truck has a boom 44 pivotally connected at one end to a pair of hydraulically operated telescopic posts 30 and further supported, intermediate its ends, by a pair of hydraulic actuators 96, 98. A further pair of hydraulic actuators 90 are connected between the truck chassis 24 and the posts 30, to pivot said posts, to move the boom forwardly and rearwardly. A fork attachment 60 is pivotally attached to the boom and is movable relative thereto by an hydraulic actuator 76. The posts 30 and the actuators 96, 98 may be operated synchronously or independently.
