Abstract

1361482 Vehicle lamps JOSEPH LUCAS (INDUSTRIES) Ltd 17 Jan 1972 [20 Jan 1971] 2742/71 Heading F4R A vehicle lamp assembly comprises a mounting member 10 for mounting on a vehicle, a frame 12 adjustably connected by mounts 13, 14, 15 to the mounting member 10 for movement relative thereto about two mutually transverse axes, a first lamp 26 non-adjustably mounted on frame 12 and a second lamp 27 adjustably mounted by mounts 28, 29 on frame 12 for movement relative thereto about an axis parallel to one of the mutually transverse axes. The two resilient, pivotal mounts 28 are on the opposite side of lamp 27 to the adjustable mount 29 which includes a screw 31 that extends through a bore in the lamp reflector and through a sealing grommet 35 in the lamp cover 34 to adjust the lamp 27 about a horizontal axis. An adhesive is used to seal lens 25 to the frame 12 which thus, with cover 34, forms a sealed enclosure that. is adjustable with respect to member 10 about horizontal and vertical axes through pivotal mount 13 by screws forming part of the mounts 14, 15.
