Abstract

1,180,229. Electric couplings. JOSEPH LUCAS (INDUSTRIES) Ltd. 1 Sept., 1967 [21 Sept., 1966], No. 42134/66. Heading H2E. [Also in Division E2] A flexible printed circuit 13 is held to a printed circuit board 11 by means of springs 16 located in a housing 15. As shown, one end of printed circuit 13 having a pair of outwardly directed tags 14 is inserted in a slot 12 in the board 11 so that tags 14 hold the undersurface of the board. Exposed conductors of the printed circuit 13 are then laid over corresponding conductors of the board 11 and are held in position by leaf springs 16 in the housing which is releasably secured to the board 11 by means of integral barbed latch members 17 which engage slots 18 in the board.
