Abstract

The spectacles consist of a frame (1) with side-pieces (2,3) and prescription lenses (5,6). Each of the lenses is connected to the frame by swivels (7-10) and can be rotated between an active position in front of the eye, and a tilted position which allows eye make-up to be applied. Each of the swivels can comprise a tip which projects from the frame and engages with a recess in the edge of a lens.

Description

The present invention relates to make-up glasses.

We know that people who have vision problems have problems applying make-up.

Indeed, if these people take off their glasses, they have problems seeing what they are doing, while if they keep them, they have problems making up.

To try to solve these problems, it has already been proposed in the prior art, to use a monocle articulated on a nasal base and intended to be placed successively opposite one then the other eye in order to allow the user to maintain a certain vision during makeup.

However, the use of this monocle presents a certain number of drawbacks, in particular because of its instability and the fact that the user may require a different correction for each eye.

The object of the invention is therefore to solve these problems.

To this end, the subject of the invention is make-up glasses comprising a frame fitted with corrective lenses, characterized in that each of the lenses is connected to the frame by means of articulation means and is movable between a position active next to the corresponding eye and a retracted position allowing it to be made up.

The invention will be better understood on reading the description which follows, given solely by way of example and made with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which
- Fig.l shows a schematic perspective view of make-up glasses according to the invention, in which the two corrective lenses are represented in the active position; and
Figure img00020001

- Fig.2 shows a view similar to that of Figure 1, in which one of the corrective lenses is shown in the retracted position for making up the corresponding eye.

As can be seen in these figures, make-up glasses according to the invention conventionally comprise a frame generally designated by the reference 1, comprising arms 2 and 3, a nasal seat 4 and lenses correction 5 and 6 respectively.

According to the invention, the corrective lenses 5 and 6 are fixed to the arms and the nasal base of the frame by means of articulation means 7, 8, 9 and 10 respectively, arranged for example on the side and d other of each glass.

Each lens is then mounted movable between an active position facing the eye as can be seen in FIG. 1 and a retracted position allowing it to be made up as shown in the correction lens 5 in FIG. 2 .

In the embodiment illustrated in these figures, the lenses are movable by pivoting between their active position and their retracted position around the axis passing through the two corresponding articulation zones on the frame.

The articulation means can for example be constituted by nipples of the branches and of the nasal seat of the frame, adapted to engage tightly in corresponding recesses of the lenses to allow them to pivot and their maintenance in position.

It goes without saying of course that embodiments of the frame and articulation means different from those shown in these figures can be envisaged.

It will therefore be understood that the makeup glasses according to the invention are extremely simple and practical to use and that, in addition, each corrective lens 5, 6 can be adapted to the corresponding eye of the user.
