Abstract

The butter packaging box comprises a lower part (1) forming a tray with a rectangular bottom (3). It also comprises front (4), rear (5) and opposite side (6,7) walls. A cover is constituted by a main rectangular wall (20) of the same dimensions as the bottom and three walls perpendicular to the main wall, a front (21) and two opposite side (22,23) walls. The cover is hinged to the tray by means of its fourth wall (24) and the upper edge of the tray rear wall. In the box open position, by tipping the cover outwards, the tray front wall tips outwards about its line (8) connecting it to the bottom. This frees access to the butter bar (33) through the front. 1. - Box for packaging a plate of butter (33) or the like, comprising, on the one hand, a lower part (1) in one piece forming a tray and comprising a rectangular bottom (3) and four walls s extending from the four sides of the bottom (3) and forming a front wall (4), a rear wall (5) and two opposite side walls (6, 7) and, on the other hand, a cover (2) d '' in one piece consisting of a rectangular main wall (20), substantially the same dimensions as the bottom (3), and three walls rising from three sides of the main wall (20), perpendicular thereto , forming a front wall (21) and two opposite side walls (22, 23), the cover (2) being integral with the container (1) and articulated on the latter by cooperation on the fourth side (24) of said wall main (20) of the cover with the upper edge of the rear wall (5) of the tray, characterized in that: for the positio n open the box by tilting the lid outwards, at least the front wall (4) of the tray can tilt outwards around its line (8) connecting with the bottom (3) to release the access to the plate (33) also from the front; and, for the closed position of the box by folding the cover over the tray, the side walls (22, 23) and the front wall (21) of the cover externally cover the three associated walls (4, 6, 7) of the tray by locking them in the closed position.

2. - Box according to claim 1, characterized in that, for said open position of the box, at least one of the two side walls (6, 7) of the tray can also tilt outwards, around its line (10, 11) connecting with the bottom (3) to clear access to the plate (33) also from the side.

3. - Box according to claim 1, characterized in that the rear wall (5) of the tray is inseparably attached to the two side walls (6, 7) of the tray.

4. - Box according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that at least part of the four walls of the tray are extended by flaps (12-15) for closing the vertical edges of the tray in position closed from the box.

5. - Box according to claim 4, characterized in that at least one of said flaps is constituted by a connecting bellows of two adjacent walls of the tray.

6. - Box according to one of claims 4 and 5, characterized in that, at least for the closed position of the box, said flaps are located inside the volume of the tray being folded against the inner face of the associated wall of the tray.

7. - Box according to one of claims 4 to 6, characterized in that the flap which is located between two adjacent walls of the tray, at least one of which can tilt outward is movable relative to one at least of said two walls of the tray.

8. - Box according to one of claims 4 to 7, characterized in that the flap which is located between two adjacent walls of the container, none of which can tilt outward is integral with said two walls of the container.

9. - Box according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the free edge of the front wall (21) of the cover and / or the free upper edge of a wall of the container capable of tilting towards the outside are provided with gripping means (34-37), in particular a tongue or a notch.

10. - Box according to claim 9, characterized in that said tongue, for the closed position of the box, is folded against the product or, preferably, down against the outer face of the associated wall of the tray to retain by friction the cover in the closed position.
