Abstract

An assembly rapidly to extend the rear part of a vehicle of hatch back type. This is so as to make possible sleeping room for two people. There are two lateral parts (1) and a loose floor member (2) and a fabric sheet (5) fixed against the body and tailored to match it. The floor is held in position by leather straps (4) and a steel cable (3) to the roof level. Another cable (6) is fitted to the roof gutter and also acts as a support. A strap (8) retains the fabric sheet tightly against the body.
