Abstract
The convector assembly accepts light bulbs which are mounted vertically to enhance their life. The air passing through the convector is heated by the bulbs and is irradiated to produce negative ionisation. This creates the effect of sunlight in good weather. The convector is mounted on a set of legs and comprises two end cheeks with a grill for the top while the front and rear are enclosed by panels. The front panel allows access to the interior where an internal casing has a front and rear fire guard which opens to allow the bulbs to be changed. Internal panels limit the air flow direction so that the air is irradiated by incanderence from the resistive element in the bulbs.
