Abstract

The connecting strip, for connecting together a line of contact pins in a terminal block or similar, consists of a longU-shaped spring that slips over the ends of the contact pins. The spring (3) has a series of holes (40) spaced along the backbone of the U at intervals corresponding to the terminal block's contact pins (2). The spring is pushed over the ends of the contacts so that its spring sides (31, 4) grip each pin. The rear or underside side (31) of the spring is in one piece whilst the front or top side (4) is divided into separate arms one for each pin.
