Abstract

The domestic water distribution system may be used in a bathroom and has pipes (12-15) leading from a control unit (C) to each appliance e.g bath, basin, bidet, w. c etc. Main hot and cold water supply pipes (5, 6) lead into the control unit which controls the outgoing water temperatures and includes push-button switches for solenoid valves (16-19). The mixing of hot and cold water may be affected by a manual mixer (7). The mixer control and the pushbuttons may be mounted on a fascia board to the control unit (C). The pipe work (8) and valves (16-19) may be mounted behind the fascia and individual electric circuits (20-23) may be provided for each valve.
