Abstract

Antistatic polyacrylonitrile mouldings. Based on polymers (A) containing at least 80% acrylonitrile alternating homogeneously with 1-15% of carboxylic acids (B) having alpha, beta-unsaturation and 3 to 5 carbon atoms with acrylonitrile and/or copolymers (C) of alkoxy carboxylic acids having alpha, beta-unsaturation and 3 to 5 carbon atoms with acrylonitrile. The admixture of copolymers (B) and/or (C) is preferably 20-85%. The advantage of the composition is that the inclusion of the copolymers renders it permanently anti-static and it cannot be extracted or removed.
