Abstract
A pole casing feed-through for the field connection of a starting device for internal combustion engines has an essentially round opening (3) in the pole casing (1) and a connecting bolt (4) which can be lodged in the opening and fixed to the casing (1). Said bolt has a first electrically conductive connection (11) inside the casing (1), a second electrically conductive connection (17) outside the casing (1), and a rotary projection (5) at its outer end. A closed profiled ring (6) made of an elastic material is mounted on the connecting bolt (4). The advantage of this feed-through is that it ensures optimal protection against the entry of moisture into the pole casing even in the case of strong vibrations and wide temperature fluctuations. The elastic profiled ring is closed around its periphery and its entire peripheral surface is in contact with the pole casing. When assembled, it is pressed against the pole casing by the connecting bolt.
