Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Warmwasserkessel mit einem Brenner (6), einer Verbrennungskammer und einem Wärmetauscher (2), wobei der Eintritt (3) für das zu erwärmende Wasser und der Austritt (4) für das erwärmte Wasser über ein Vierwegeventil (13) verbindbar sind und zwischen diesem Ventil (13) und dem Eintritt bzw. Austritt ein Wärmetauscher (17) vorgesehen und ferner in dieser Leitung auch eine Umwälzpumpe (16) angeordnet ist. Um Wärmetauscher geringer Abmessungen verwenden zu können, ist der Zapfleitung (20) (Brauchwasserleitung des Wärmetauschers) ein Strömungswächter (24) zugeordnet, mit dem die Umwälzpumpe (16) zum Nachheizen des Kessels schaltbar ist.
