Description

The invention relates to a door hinge for heavy doors, front doors or the like, with a frame hinge part and a wing hinge part, which has a lower and an upper pin, which are mounted in bearing bushes, which in a lower and an upper, axially open pin bearing of a frame hinge part are used, the bearing bushes being provided with sliding flanges which are supported against the surfaces of the wing hinge part of the lower and upper journal bearings. Such a hinge is known from the closest prior art DE-U-86 09 628. Such a hinge is also known from DE-A-35 04 921.

With such door hinges, especially for front doors or other relatively heavy doors, it is difficult to adjust the height of the door leaf precisely. In the known door hinges, a considerable amount of assembly work is required.

The invention has for its object to provide a heavy-duty hinge, in which a height adjustment of the hinge part or the door leaf is possible with little installation effort.

This object is achieved according to the invention by the characterizing features of independent claim 1 (variant 1) or of independent claim 7 (variant 2)

Four spacers are expediently provided, two of which are twice as thick as the other two spacers. With the help of these spacers, an assembled door can be set to seven different height positions.

If the total adjustment range is 6 mm and two washers with a thickness of 2 mm and two washers with a thickness of 1 mm are provided, then by replacing the spacer washers, the sash hinge part can be set in seven positions, each differing by 1 mm. During the replacement of the spacers, the load to be received by the lower bearing bush can be absorbed by the lower threaded plug, so that the spacers provided on the lower journal bearing can be relieved. Furthermore, the height of the wing hinge part can be adjusted with the help of the lower threaded plug and after removing the spacers on the upper pivot bearing.

Since the upper and lower pivot bearings are integrally connected (variant 1) or detachably rigid (variant 2) and also the two journals of the hinge part are integrally connected to each other, this door hinge makes it impossible to escape.

Furthermore, the invention has for its object to provide a frame hinge part according to variant 2, which is suitable to store both a sash hinge part with only one downward pin and to accommodate a sash hinge part that has a downward and an upward pin .

This object is achieved in that a second, upper journal bearing can be connected without play at the upper end of the screw-on web, according to the characterizing features of independent claim 7.

The upper journal bearing can, for example, be connected to the upper end of the screw-on web via a dovetail guide.

Advantageously, the housing-like screw-on web is at least partially open or open on its upper end face, and the upper journal bearing has a downward-facing connection part which can be gripped by the walls of the screw-on web and can be inserted without play into the upper part of the screw-on web.

In this way, it is possible to use the lower frame hinge part in isolation for mounting a wing hinge part with a pin directed downwards. This lower frame hinge part can then also be used together with an upper frame hinge part for a wing hinge part with a downward and an upward pin. In this way, the storage of the door hinges to choose from can be considerably simplified.

There is also the possibility of retrofitting if it turns out that in the case of a door which has already been installed and is only stored in the lower pivot bearing, the bearing must be reinforced by the upper pivot bearing.

Further features of the invention emerge from the subclaims.

The door hinge shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 is composed of a frame hinge part 1 and a sash hinge part 2. The hinge hinge part 2 is mounted with a lower pin 5 and an upper pin 6 in bearing bushes 10 and 12, which in a lower pin bearing 3 and an upper pin bearing 4 are used. The bearing bushes 10 and 12 are provided with sliding flanges 11 and 13, which are supported against the contact surfaces 23 and 24 of the lower and upper journal bearings 3 and 4 facing the wing hinge part 2.

As shown in FIG. 2, the lower journal bearing 3 and the upper journal bearing 4 are connected to one another in one piece via a screw-on web 7. The screw web 7 has screw holes 28 with which the frame hinge part 1 to one Door frame can be attached. Furthermore, 3 and 4 support bolts 27 are arranged in the region of the journal bearings.

The distance between the contact surfaces 23 and 24 of the lower and upper journal bearings 4 and 5 is a desired travel distance, for example 6 mm, larger than the axial dimension of the wing hinge part 2 plus the thickness of the two sliding flanges 11 and 13 of the bearing bushes 10 and 12. The upper and lower pins 5 and 6 of the wing hinge part 2 are formed by an axle pin 8 which can be inserted axially through one of the pin bearings 4 or 5 into a cylindrical recess 25 of the wing hinge part 2 and can be fixed by means of a screw 9. The screw 9 is arranged on the hinge part 2 that it can only be reached with an open door with an Allen key or a screwdriver. The locking screw 9 engages in a recess 26 of the axle pin 8, so that it is axially immovable and non-rotatably held in the wing hinge part 2.

At the axially outer ends of the lower and the upper journal bearing 3 and 4, beyond the bearing bushes 10 and 12 used therein, internal threads 20 are attached, in which threaded plugs 14 and 15 are axially adjustable. With the help of these threaded plugs 14 and 15, the leaf hinge part or the door leaf can be raised or lowered, provided that no spacers 16, 17, 18 and 19 have been inserted between the leaf hinge part 2 and the contact surfaces 23 and 24 of the lower and the upper pivot bearing.

As shown in FIG. 6, the spacers are open at one corner, so that they can be pushed over the lower bearing bush 10 or over the upper bearing bush 12 without difficulty.

Like the upper bearing bush 12, this bush is inserted in the journal bearing 3 or 4 in a rotationally fixed manner. The Bearing bushes 10 and 12 consist of a self-lubricating plastic. They are provided with at least one axially extending rib 29. This rib 29 is arranged in the corner of the bearing bush 10 or 12, in which the opening 30 of the spacer 16 - 19 shown in FIG. 6 is also located. If the bearing bush 10 or 12 is equipped with two opposing ribs 29, a recess 31 is provided on the spacers 16-19, opposite the open corner 30, which surrounds this second rib 29. The opening 31 in the spacers 16-19 also facilitates the opening of the spacers when inserting or removing them. After relieving these spacers, they can easily be moved out of their position with the help of a screwdriver by pulling them off the respective bearing bush at an angle of 45 ° to the level of the door leaf. The insertion of these spacers is facilitated in that the corners at the opening 30 of the spacers 16-19 are rounded.

As shown in FIG. 5, the lower bearing bush 10 can be provided with a bottom 22, in which there is an opening which serves for the axle pin 8 to be driven out after the grub screw 9 has been loosened. The bottom 22 has the advantage that the door fitting and in particular the axle pin 8 can be easily installed in the correct position. But the bottom 22 can also be omitted, and this would have the advantage that the axle pin can be inserted into the wing hinge part 2 both through the lower journal bearing 3 and through the upper journal bearing 4.

In the fully assembled state, the threaded plugs 14 and 15 can be adjusted so that they are completely relieved and the door leaf can be moved easily. By tightening these threaded plugs 14 and 15 to different degrees, the door leaf can be adjusted more or less stiffly. The lower opening of the lower journal bearing 3 and the upper opening of the upper journal bearing 4 are closed.

For depth adjustment, the bearing bushes 10 and 12 can also be designed as eccentric bushings in a known manner. The wing hinge part 2 can be laterally adjustable according to DE-U-87 04 807.

As FIGS. 7, 8 and 9 show, the frame hinge part 1 is in two parts. It is composed of a lower journal bearing 3 with screw-on web 7 and an upper journal bearing 4. The upper journal bearing 4 is connected to the upper end 44 of the screw-on web 7 without play.

As shown in FIG. 9, the screw-on web 7 is partially open on its upper side 44, so that a connecting part 40 cast onto the upper journal bearing 4 can be inserted into the housing-like screw-on web 7. This connecting part 40 is enclosed by the walls 41, 42 and 43 of the screw-on web.

The screw-on web is provided with screw holes or cast-on screw sleeves 28 which are arranged on the sides of the web in the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 7 to 12.

As FIG. 9 shows, the connecting part 40 engages around the upper screw sleeve 28 of the screw-on web 7 with an arcuate lateral recess 46.

As shown in FIG. 8, support bolts 27 are formed on both the lower journal bearing 3 and the upper journal bearing 4.

In order to be able to use the connecting piece 40 in the upper part of the screw-on web 7, the end wall can be easily broken out because predetermined breaking notches 45 are formed on the inside, which allow the wall 44 to be easily broken out.

As the rear view of the frame hinge part shown in FIG. 9 shows, the side walls 41 and 42 of the screw-on web 7 are connected to one another via stiffening, transverse walls. Furthermore, walls are also provided which extend in a zigzag manner and which support the screw sleeves 28 and the support pins 27 against one another.

Depending on the embodiment of the frame profiles, it may be expedient to arrange the screw holes or screw sleeves 28 ′ and the support bolts 27 ′ on the longitudinal center line of the frame hinge part 1 according to FIGS. 13 and 14. In this embodiment, the connection piece 40 'is equipped with a passage sleeve 47 which receives a screw sleeve 28' of the screw-on web 7 'when the upper end of the screw-on web 7' is pushed over the connector 40 'of the upper journal bearing 4'.
