Description

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Kochofen, besonders zur Verwendung im Haushalt, des Typs mit einem Kochraum, der an einer seiner Seitenwände eine Doppelwand aufweist, deren Wände ein Abteil begrenzen, in welchem ein Ventilator zur Luftzirkulation angeordnet ist, wobei die Innenwand der Doppelwand in ihrem unteren Bereich mindestens eine Öffnung zum Ansaugen der Luft, gegenüber welcher der Ventilator angeordnet ist, und in ihrem oberen Bereich mindestens eine Öffnung zur Abgabe der Luft aufweist, sowie mit einem im Kochraum außerhalb des Abteils und gegenüber der Luft-Abgabeöffnung angeordneten elektrischen Grill- Heizwiderstand, der sowohl als Grillheizelement dient, wenn der Ofen im Grillmodus verwendet wird, wobei der Ventilator ausgeschaltet ist, als auch als Heizelement dient, das durch den vom Ventilator erzeugten Luftstrom ventiliert wird, wenn der Ofen im Umluftmodus (mit Zwangsumlauf der heißen Luft) verwendet wird.The invention relates to a cooking oven, particularly for domestic use, of the type comprising a cooking chamber having on one of its side walls a double wall, the walls of which delimit a compartment in which a fan for air circulation is arranged, the inner wall of the double wall having in its lower part at least one opening for intake of air, opposite which the fan is arranged, and in its upper part at least one opening for discharge of air, and an electric grill heating resistor arranged in the cooking chamber outside the compartment and opposite the air discharge opening, which serves both as a grill heating element when the oven is used in grill mode, with the fan off, and as a heating element ventilated by the air flow generated by the fan when the oven is used in recirculation mode (with forced circulation of hot air).

Erfindungsgemäß ist ein zusätzlicher elektrischer Heizwiderstand 10, der nur dann verwendet wird, wenn der Ofen im Umluftmodus verwendet wird, mit dem Grillheizelement 8 in Reihe geschaltet (Fig.3), wobei er im Kochraum außerhalb seines Abteils 3 und auf gleicher Höhe wie das Grillheizelement 8 angeordnet ist (Fig.2). Dieser zusätzliche Heizwiderstand 10 ist so ausgewählt, daß er im Umluftmodus eine erheblich geringere Leistung als die des Grillheizelements 8 abgibt.
